What’s in MY Bag? #DrSmiths #Giveaway

I’ve done a few fun “What’s in MY Bag” posts before….but this one is super fun because it involves one of my favorite brands and a giveaway too!  So, I’ll show you what I carry with me on a daily basis now, and I’ll also show you what I recommend carrying if you are a new Mom as well.

That’s what I have in my bag right now.  Connor is 3 years old and he now carries most of his necessities in his own backpack, which is awesome!  He keeps Pull-Ups, extra underwear, extra clothes, socks, Dr. Smith’s Diaper Ointment, and some toys.

These are some of my favorite things and also things that I carried when Connor was a young baby….

Connor has always had a sensitive hiney and it flared up a lot when he was a baby.  Especially when he was sick.  I still use Dr. Smith’s Diaper Ointment on him to this day.  When he’s sick and has potty “issues” he still gets a rash.  He also has splash day at school on Friday’s and his hiney flares up if he’s wet for too long in a swimsuit as well.  Nothing has worked better for us than Dr. Smith’s.  I kid you not, nothing…..

  6. My #1 must have in my purse are more than one; however, the cell phone is at the top of the must haves!

  13. I am a bag minimalist!! I prefer very small purses and diaper bags. My purse is a zippered pouch with my money and credit cards, store cards in the side zipper with one lip gloss, pen, cell phone and keys. My diaper bag is 2 diapers, one cloth and one disposable, two small toys (usually a bouncy ball and a car, I have boys), a wet bag for the dirty diaper and a changing pad. My must have item would definitely be my cell phone.

  21. Lipstick….always have to have a little color! And that is usually all the makeup I have on…so it’s important! And almonds or a Kind bar incase I get hungry and I need something fast!

  31. I MUST have my ATM card, really dark sunglasses, and ALWAYS mints or hard candies for dry mouth or a tickle in the throat. Oh yeah, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, have tissue on hand!

  40. Aside from the essentials (keys, phone, money), lipstick and business cards – never know who you’re going to meet 🙂

  41. I don’t carry a bag.. but chapstick is a big one for me.. also always have to have my cellphone

  43. Well like most people I can’t live without my phone but I must add to that a charger too.

  47. Wipes. There’s always something oozing out from somewhere.

  53. The wallet is the first thing. My small notebook–it’snot exactly a day planner, but I don’tknow how I would finish errands without it.

  54. Actually I try NOT to carry a bag. I prefer to carry as little as possible and have it fit in my pockets… must haves are wallet, cell, lipstick or chapstick, 3 aspirin, 3 xanax [suffer w/ extreme anxiety], generally a tissue [allergies]. That’s pretty much it except I always walk with a bottle of water as the anxiety otherwise leads to such bad dry mouth I can’t open it even to talk. If I do take a bag I add a pen and a piece of paper, and my glasses/ sunglasses. Thanks for the giveaway.

  61. My absolute must have item is moist wipes. Any kind is fine, but they are definitely a must have. I can’t even remember how many times they have come in handy for me.

  68. I have to have my wallet/coin purse, as it contains my ids, other cards, cash, and extra keys.

  91. I always make sure that my wallet is in my bag, I have actually gone and left it before (I wasn’t driving.), so we had to hurry back home to get it!

  103. Our must have item is a bottle of water, someone is always thirsty when we go out.

  108. My must haves? Lotion and chapstick…I’m a dried out husk! Transplanted from Cincinnati to North Texas… the wind and heat are wrecking me…lol..

  110. I would have to say it’s a toss up between my phone and wipes, but, definately both!

  113. Definitely my phone. There is always something going on and places kids need to be or be picked up from. I would be lost, or possible lose my kids, without it.

  114. Baby wipes – have to have them for my baby and my 8-year old! Sometimes I need them for me and my hubby, thanks!

  118. My chapstick…………I had stage 3 hodgkins disease years back and now I have to keep my lips hydrated all the time if I don’t I get very painful cold sores. So, I never go anywhere with out my chapstick.

  140. Kleenex. I must have them in my purse at all times. seems like when I don’t have one, that is when I really need one. (plus lipstick!)

  171. My #1 is to always have at least 20$ in my bag – you never know what might happen!!!

  179. These days it’s a small can of bug spray since I either go jogging or play tennis after work and want to ward off mosquitoes!

  182. The most important thing for me to have is the little plunger I use to take out my contacts. Wipes are also very important!

  231. I must have wipes. I may not always need a diaper or other items on an outing but we always seem to need wipes!

  260. I have 2 #1’s…a mirror cause you never know when you will have food between your teeth or snot hanging out of your nose and Cash! Although I use my credit card for basically everything having some cash is important to me.

  292. Chapstick and wipes! And bubbles! It’s amazing how a little thing of bubbles can make such a difference when kids are bored in the car!

  329. I would have to say my spare keys, I have one for the house and one for the car pinned inside a compartment in my bag. I have locked myself out one too many times

  356. My date book…between Dr. appts. for myself, hubby and mom, I have to be sure not to accidentally schedule more than one appt. at a time.
