Guess what’s coming up next week?  The DFW Auto Show!

I attended last year and let me just say there was some serious eye candy.  If you are looking for a new car, love getting all googly eyed over the new shiny vehicles, or are just looking for something fun to do you have to go!  I’m the type of person that likes to touch and see everything in person.  The DFW Auto Show was the place to do just that.  I hopped in the drivers seat and got a feel for each car.  I may have imagined myself on a couple of fabulous road trips or winning a car on the Price is Right too!  Ha ha!

Mazda will be showing the newly updated Mazda CX-9. 2016 is turning out to be the year of the family car, and Mazda is taking that to heart; after years of focusing on smaller sedans and the Miata roadster, we can’t wait to see what is in store for the popular three row SUV CX-9.  Mazda’s “zoom zoom” is still a favorite with drivers and critics. The company’s sedans win award after award; they are a favorite to drive among auto experts. Partially this is because they are well engineered; this is also partially because they deliver a lot of value for the price.

Mazda has a car for everyone! From ‘starter’ cars like the Miata or the 3 to crossovers perfect for the family, like the CX-9, Mazda wants its customers to grow with the brand. Check out more here.

Things that Make My Day

I surprised Connor during lunch today at school and brought Chick-Fil-A.  He had been telling me other parents come visit during lunch time and would really like that so I thought I would go by there.  Until I tried to leave and talk about a MELT DOWN.  Oh my gosh….not a good idea to stop by during the middle of the school day.  Although we did have a great time 🙂

My new fall bag from Barrington totes.  I have been wanting a tartan bag FOREVER.  When I saw they had this pattern I went nutso.  I have a thing for bags and purses and I just love these totes because I can literally fit my LIFE into them.  I’m ready to Christmas shop ladies and we are headed to the Texas State Fair this weekend….I can fit all my goodies in here!

Fun mail days are the best.  Leave it to the folks at Dunkin Donuts to make mine.  They sent this fall care package of goodies.  Dunkin Donuts is introducing a Pumpkin Macchiato.  If you know me….then you know Macchiatos are my favorite coffee drink!  National coffee day is this coming Tuesday, September 29th.  Go to any Dunkin’ Donuts store across the country and receive a free medium cup of Dunkin’ Donuts hot or iced Dark Roast Coffee- limit one per guest.  COUNT ME THERE!!!  I don’t discriminate against any kind of coffee- I love it all– especially when it’s FREE 🙂   Thank you Dunkin!

Tell Me Bout it Monday…

I pulled up my Facebook feed this morning and was excited to see all the back to school pictures from friends and family.  Connor starts next Monday.  The nurse from the elementary school called and said a shot he was supposed to have gotten at birth was not documented.  So I had to go to the hospital (which I haven’t been to in over 5 years…) and get documentation of this ONE shot he was supposed to have.  He did indeed get it and I got the paperwork to prove that.  What a mess though…seriously?

My solace was the Starbucks in the lobby of the hospital because I remember checking in wanting to have one so bad and never got one because I just had a baby and no caffeine and all that mess….whatevs.

One of my favorite reality shows ever “Ladies of London” is coming back across the pond.  I know this show is probably so far from reality it’s crazy…but I love to watch these divas and listen to their fancy accents and watch the fancy parties.

I’ve been doing a ton of photo shoots lately and it’s been so fun!  I just adored this little one-year-old birthday party on Saturday.  It was seriously ADORABLE down to the very last detail.

We love Peppa Pig and we just watched a new movie called Peppa Pig: School Bus Trip DVD, Peppa and her school friends take a trip to the mountains, where she and her classmates have fun hearing echoes, having a picnic, and singing their favorite tune on the bus ride home – the “Bing Bong Song.” Back at school, Peppa attends gym class, acts in the school play, participates in sports day, and much more! Young viewers will love these hilarious adventures filled with lots of snorts, laughter, sunshine, and of course, jumping in muddy puddles!

This is a perfect movie for back to school time!
