Pre-K Graduation Night

Our baby graduated from pre-school this past month.  He is officially going to be a kindergartener in the fall.  It feels like I just brought this sweet boy home from the hospital.

The graduation was so cute.  It was a chance for them to feel special and show all the parents what they learned this past year.  It’s always a hoot watching little kids perform!BBP_3034

We sure are going to miss all his friends from Preschool.  They’ve become great memories we will cherish forever.  We are now busy packing and getting ready to move over the next week.  It’s always an adventure and I’m sure this next chapter won’t disappoint 🙂

We are Moving!

I’m slacking major on the blog lately.  I really do enjoy journaling our life.  I can’t believe I’ve almost had this little website for 10 years!

We decided to put our house on the market earlier this year before Connor starts Kindergarten later in the fall.  Well, we put it on the market and within 3 days it was sold!  That was great….but now we have to find a house and it’s been CRAZY out there.  If you are house hunting in DFW right now I do not envy you.  The market has totally turned.  It’s great for sellers, but for buyers prepare yourselves for battle.

I think we’ve made 4 or 5 offers on homes (all well above asking) and haven’t gotten any of them.  We have to be out of our current house in 3 weeks & I’m just a tad nervous about it.  We haven’t even started packing.  Ugh.

It’s going to be bittersweet leaving this home.  We’ve made so many memories and it’s the house we brought Connor home to from the hospital.  It’s the only home he’s known.  Now it’s time for someone else to cherish it and we are looking forward to this next phase in our lives.

Happy 34th Ter-Bear

Terence and I enjoyed a yummy meal & conversation at Chili’s.  You can’t go wrong with pasta and mango sweet tea 🙂  Of course no meal is complete without DESSERT.  Hello there molten chocolate cake…..YUM.  When kids come into the picture it gets harder to put your marriage first and spend extra time on YOU!  It was so nice to have a night out with my love and I looked and smelled extra special.
