And we were just as scared of Chuck as Connor was on Saturday…what is it about that darn mouse?

Oh gosh I loved the 80’s.  I’ve reconnected with so many military friends on Facebook and that has been so cool!IMG952399

Chuck E Cheese Fun!

D7K_0270

We took Connor to Chuck E Cheese for the first time this past Saturday.  To say he had fun was an understatement.  The kid was in Heaven!  Bless his heart he couldn’t contain himself and he’s been talking about it ever since.  It was his reward for wearing big boy undies all week at school and not having accidents! Woohoo!

D7K_0253We went on Saturday night.  What were we thinking???  We should have brought the leash.  Those kiddos run around like chickens with their heads cut off!

Oh my goodness a TICKET!

We also tried out the new Chuck E Cheese App.   You just point your phone at the signs on the walls and tables and Chuck E. magically appears in the photos.  It’s so easy to share the photos that are taken – to Facebook, Twitter, and with Chuck E. Cheese’s

D7K_0261 D7K_0263 D7K_0268  I look like crap.  Our whole family has been battling sickness for what seems like forever!  We all have horrible sinus infections.  (Now, I’ll take this any day over that stomach bug we had a couple weeks ago).

Don’t you just love those kids who cheat and stand on the machines? NOT.  Get your kid off that thing. Seriously.

Cashing in those tickets for a swirly straw, plastic frog, and Sweet Tarts.

Totally worth it. 🙂

I’m still getting used to this whole WordPress stuff.  What do ya’ll think?

I really like it so far…….

Easter 2013 Recap

Yay!  We have a new decent family photo!
My brother in law took this Saturday night after the Easter egg hunt.  We went over to T’s parent’s house for  a pre-Easter dinner and egg hunt with all the cousins.  It’s so nice to get together with everyone, we are so blessed to have great families on BOTH sides of the coin.Read More

Easter Basket 2013

We had a great weekend with a family dinner & egg hunt, along with a beautiful church service today.  I’m missing my family back home today, especially on Easter where we would always go to the farm.  So thankful for Jesus sacrifice so that we can live…..I’m so not worthy of anything.  Thank you Lord for my beautiful family and friends and this life you have given,
Hope you all had a great Easter too!!!!
Although we don’t really do the Easter bunny, we did do a basket for the lil guy and here are some pictures I took….I’ll post the rest of our Easter weekend later. *Cherishing this age and these moments*

The 3 Birthday Race Car Party {That Didn’t Happen}

Sometimes you have the best intentions and then life happens.  I had all the party supplies, cupcakes, and everything else needed for the perfect race car birthday ready to go…..then Friday night happened.  Connor was up all night with a croupy cough.  My sister, Vinny, and Jarrett were in town already and my Mom and Dad got in late Friday.

Everyone was here!  Terence, Connor, and I got about 3 hours of sleep Friday night.  Needless to say Saturday wasn’t going much better and you could just tell Connor boy wasn’t feeling good.  I made the decision to cancel the party.  I know a party is not what’s important, it’s being surrounded by the people you love and having fun!  And we had just that.

Later in the weekend Jarrett got sick and my Mom started feeling bad :-/  What is going on with the allergies already TX???  “Ain’t nobody got time for that!”

Here is my big 3 year old….

Here are the race car cupcakes I made.  They were really easy.  I just dipped them in melted chocolate chips and then rolled them in crushed mint oreos.  I wanted it to look like a race track 🙂

Opening presents from Nana & Poppy

Poppy let Connor have all his loose change to fill his piggy!
 Jarrett & Connor eating Cheerios

They love each other so much.  Connor keeps asking where everyone went….waaaah!

My sister found these shirts at Old Navy.  Aren’t they so cute???

Later that day we headed out to the park with my family and T’s family came over too, along with cousins Alicia & Ellie.  I got some confetti eggs for the kids to play with.  They sell them in grocery stores now.

Ugh….it was sooooo windy.  Just so you know I didn’t get the Miley Cyrus haircut….that would be the wind. Thank.You.

We had a great time!  I miss my family already, and although everything didn’t go according to plan we got to visit and make memories we’ll never forget.
