It’s so hot right now in Texas I’m on a big iced coffee kick.  This Gevalia Iced Coffee with Almond Milk hits my coffee radar in every way.  It’s made with 100% Arabica Gevalia coffee, almond milk, and 9 grams of protein per single serve carton, as well as “just enough sweetness”.

I’m always in the car.  Our mornings are go…go…go!!!  Getting Connor ready for school & then I’m out the door for work.  Gevalia Iced Coffee with Almond Milk is easy to grab from the fridge and just throw in your bag for the day when you need a little pick me up.

I’m a big fan of Almond milk.  It’s sweet and good for you and tastes wonderful in coffee.
Gevalia Iced Coffee with Almond Milk is the first ready-to-drink offering from Gevalia and is now available in grocery stores across the U.S. in three flavors: Mocha, Vanilla and Caramel.

Terence tried it one morning when he was running late and he said “Wow, this is actually really good!”  Sometimes I think my husband is a bigger “coffee snob” than I am 😉
With nine grams of protein per single serve carton & 170 calories this is a great option, especially for families on the go.   I’m a big caramel fan, so I absolutely LOVED the caramel flavor.  The Mocha was delicious and creamy as well.  All flavors were so good it was hard to choose a favorite.  Even if I hadn’t been sent sample to try I would definitely recommend these coffee drinks…no lie!!!  They are so good and I’ll definitely be filling my fridge with Gevalia Iced Coffee with Almond Milk this summer.

I found this amazing dotted heart necklace.  I’m in love (literally) with it!

This necklace is beautiful example of sentiment, this sterling silver heart hangs sweetly from a gold-filled wrap and chain. Hand forged by artist Dana Reed, this textural design marries heartfelt elegance with mixed metal, industrial style. Made in Chicago, Illinois.  Artist Dana combines the exotic elements of many cultures with art deco influenced geometrics and ultrachic textures.  It truly is a “one of a kind” gift from UncommonGoods.

Kick The Pain: Stronger & Longer Hair & Nails

BBP_1537

I have probably mentioned Dromeo to y’all before, but it’s been awhile since I’ve talked about it & the wonders it beholds.  Terence has two wonderful Aunts named Beverly & Lyn who started a company called Dromeo.

When Terence first took me out to meet them he told me they raised Emus.  I thought that was crazy because I never knew anyone who raised Emus, let alone had I seen one!  Well, turns out Emu Oil has powerful agents that penetrate naturally and deeply through the skin, into the body.

I can tell you from personal experience that the Analgesic Cream (that contains the Emu Oil) really does DO what it says it will.  It literally “kicks the pain”.  Terence just worked on the yard yesterday and woke up all stiff this morning.  He went straight for the Dromeo.

Every friend I’ve share this product with has been crazy about it and I’ve heard countless testimonies of how it’s changed their lives.   If you suffer from any kind of pain, stiffness, or inflammation you MUST try Dromeo.

BBP_1540

Over the years Beverly and Lyn have developed several other products that work remarkable as well .  If you have dry, brittle nails like me try the Nail Therapy Lotion. The Nail Therapy lotion is free of harsh or drying chemicals. It strengthens, protects and moisturizes nails and cuticles. Ideal for chipped, splitting or brittle nails.

BBP_1539

I’ve also been using the Hair Therapy Lotion.  My hair is naturally curly and I do everything in my power to fight it.  Enter….my hair straightener, blow dryer, and curling iron on a daily basis.  That doesn’t make for happy hair right?  I’ve definitely noticed my frizzy hair is much more healthy and nourished.  Dromeo Hair Therapy Lotion moisturizes while smoothing the hair cuticle and defying the ravages of styling tools. Ideal for dry, damaged or color-treated hair, perfect for enhancing healthy hair.

The Hand and Body Therapy Lotion is great too! Soothe, smooth and soften hands.  Ideal for dry or damaged skin, never oily. Perfect for nourishing healthy skin.

This post is sponsored. All products mentioned and reviewed on this page are compliments of Tum-E Yummies. All opinions of the products are my own.

In a couple of weeks I’ll be attending the Color Vibe race in Dallas.  I’m so excited about this because I’ve never been.  I’ve heard a lot of friends talk about it and it always seems like so much fun!

To get ready for the big race we made our own Color Your World kit with colorful accessories to wear during the race.

Like some fun shades perhaps?

One of the greatest things about doing a color run is that this is your chance to let loose and have fun. Some race participants even dress up in costume.  This is the time to have fun with COLOR!

We made some mustache necklaces to wear:

Color bands and hair ties:

These are so easy to make with elastic you can find at any craft store.

White shirts are great to wear because you are going to get drenched in color.  I got our family some tie-dye shirts because….well, why not?

BBP_0611

The more colorful the better!  Wear as MUCH color as you want to.  The color used at Color VibeTM races is 100% safe, edible, biodegradable, and beautiful. I love seeing the look in people’s faces during the Color Vibe race…it just looks like everyone is having so much FUN!

We are going to bring snacks and some colorful Tum-E Yummies drinks to the race.  Tum-E Yummies is a proud sponsor of Color VibeTM, a 5K color run or walk that’s known for family-friendly fun.  Tum-E Yummies are perfect for this race because they come in all different colors and flavors.

Color VibeTM is a color-blast 5K race for all ages that is all about having fun for the whole family while getting covered from head to toe with splashes of color.

Beverly Goldberg Quote of the Week

Capture

If you aren’t watching my favorite show on TV you need to start STAT!  I love The Goldbergs…featuring my favorite 80’s mom Beverly.  Some of the stuff she does and says will have you rolling.  It reminds me so much of my childhood too.

The 80’s totally rocked!  (But I hope shoulder pads don’t ever come back in style…who thought looking like a linebacker was cool?)

Mid-Week Update

BBP_0431

Connor and I have been home all day.  His school called yesterday concerned he may have a slight case of the chicken pox.  I thought they were just bug bites.  He’s been complaining of itching.  We took him to the Doctor and they could neither confirm or really deny that’s what it was.  So who knows???  He’s been vaccinated, but apparently you can still get it.  Most of the bumps are gone now, so I’m hoping to take this kiddo back to school tomorrow 🙂

BBP_0425

Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies are going to be the end of whatever waistline I have remaining. They are soooo good. My Mom made an ice cream cake with these cookies growing up. To this day it’s still one of my favorite desserts. It’s just chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, and crumbled thin mints on top. You freeze it in a casserole dish and it’s SO delish!

BBP_0409
Connor’s Valentine’s turned out so cute for his Pre-K class. They are from Cardstore and cost me less than $8 bucks. His party is on Friday and I’m excited to share it with him and his friends.

BBP_0304
I know I’ve talked about Evy’s Tree hoodies before. Y’all they are seriously the softest, most comfortable hoodies. I have washed this green one a ton and it still looks great! I’m loving the blush hoodie.

BBP_0406

This stuff is legit.  You can get it at Whole Foods and its raw sugar and cinnamon.  I add some to my coffee in the mornings and it adds great sweetness and flavor.

What are you loving right now???  Anyone discovered anything new and fabulous?
