I’ve had so much fun linking up every week for “Finish This”  A lot of times I’m struggling with what to write and this is just a nice refresher.  It’s also a good get to know you blog post for whoever wants to participate 🙂

(Although I read most blogs on break at work & I’m unable to comment because of BLOCKED reasons…..sigh)  Just know I hear you sisters!

1. When I need help with life’s mysteries, I turn to JESUS!  I have no idea why things happen or when, all I know is the Lord is in control and in the end that is all that matters.  I also talk to my hubs, my parents, and family and friends for advice.

2. My next challenge is figuring out Where we are going to move.  Now that my job has transferred a bit closer to where T works we are trying to find a larger home in between our offices.  We always knew this house wouldn’t be our “forever” home.  The housing market is crazy right now and it is stressing me OUT!  Also….always on the back burner….if we’ll have another baby some day.  I’m so torn.  When is it going to be the right time ( I know the answer is never) but we are planners and can’t even decide if we want one.  Will I regret the decision to have only one years from now?  Connor is the best thing we’ve ever done.  He’s at such a fun age.  Frankly, the thought of going through the newborn phase again scares the crap out of me.  Oh life you are full of decisions aren’t you!

3. I shake things up Uhm….I’m not a very shaky person.  I’m a planner.  But I guess every now and then I’ll just belt out a song or do something that surprises someone.  I love it when my husband is spontaneous….even though it rarely happens I love not knowing what’s planned for anniversaries, birthdays, and holiday.  A surprise is the best!

4. High heels are only for special occasions.  I wear flats pretty much every day.  I don’t like heels I know they look pretty, but my achy breaky feet hate them. They are gorgeous, but I choose comfort over style.

FIVE THINGS I KNOW FOR SURE

1.  That Jesus is my Lord and Savior.  That is what’s true, it’s what’s I know, it’s what I believe with all my heart

2.  Life isn’t fair.  Growing up a twin you realize that really fast.  Of course there will always be competition (especially if you are a twin).  Don’t compare yourself to others or you’ll always be miserable.  Live life for you, for your family, and let God’s glory shine through your life.  You never know who you will impact from day-to-day.  One reason I love the blogging community!

3.  I know my husband is my best friend.  We have a foundation built on Christ.  If we didn’t have that I don’t think we’d still be together.  Marriage is HARD y’all and it takes work.  We fight and whine at each other, but at the end of the day when we are old and gray I know I want him sitting in the recliner right next to me.  He’s a “know it all” so we should never lack in conversation 🙂  ha ha!  I love him despite all his flaws and I know he loves me.  Loyalty and trust are priority.

4.  I’m totally in a conundrum about the whole “having another child” issue.  My door isn’t closed yet.  I’m no spring chicken.  My fear is I will look back on my life 10 years from now and wish we’d had more kids.  I love Connor with all my heart and so does T.  There is a lot of fear there with how we will manage if we did have another child.  It’s hard to let go of your anxiety and fear and let God take control.  I’d love to hear your thoughts on this issue in particular???  Do you have one child?  Do you have 10?  Thoughts on lots of kids or if you just have one do you regret it now?

5.  This should be obvious….I’ll never stop drinking coffee.  I like all different kinds of coffee, all different flavors, and brands.  I just like COFFEE.  Period.

1. I plan on buying lots of stuff?  It seems like you have to buy stuff to live right?  Groceries, gas, and maybe something fun if the budget permits 🙂

2. I give ____ five stars because  I’m super late on this train…but I started watching Downton Abbey.  OMG.  It’s great!  I am so wrapped up in all the characters now I can’t stop watching.  If you haven’t watched yet it takes a few episodes to get going but it is just as good as every said.  FIVE STARS!

3. I felt courageous when I tell someone how I really feel.  That is hard for me because I’m a natural people pleaser, but when I get things off my chest and tell people “WHAT UP?” then I feel a whole lot better.
4. I feel about swimsuit shopping like I do sitting on a pile of fire ants.  I hate it.  I don’t want to see my lovely lady lumps 360 in the dressing room.  I heard Spanx makes swimsuits…hmmmm… regardless it’s only if I absolutely have NO other choice.  Boo…I need to lose like 30 lbs. 

My twinks is getting married in June…yet another reason to lose some poundage.  I’ll see her in a month 🙂  Yippee!!!!!
