Jingle Bell Rock Blog Hop {Christmas Cards}

It’s day one of the Jingle Bell Rock Blog Hop!!!  Woohoo!!!  Lets get this Christmas season started.  We have lots of fun link-ups and giveaways in store for ya’ll! 
Today we are linking up our Christmas cards.  I haven’t mailed mine out to everyone on my list, so if you have yet to received one then hide your eyes!
I like to display mine in this little wire holder on the counter.  Hopefully this will be filled by the end of the month. We’ve received a couple of cards so far.  I just love opening our mailbox every day and seeing what is in store!

Moms Night Out DFW Style

The other night I attended an event hosted my Dallas Mom Blogs.  We had a great time at DryBar in Plano!  The food and fellowship was fabulous.  I got to hang with my bff Amber and the precious Arena!  Who we met at the DryBar last time we were there and have remained good friends.  These two gals are so special!

They had so many sweet treats- including macaroons, cake balls, and cupcakes.  I am going to have to diet for the next month to counteract the damage I did that night!

Swapping Fall Goodies + A Treat

I participated in a fall swap earlier this month.  My precious partner was Allie.  She did an AMAZING job!

OMG Allie everything you chose I loved.  I’ve already worn the scarf to work and got several compliments on it.  I mean she hooked me up!  LOVE this Harvest sign, bakery goods, earrings, and nail polish too!

Speaking of fall baking…..I made the BEST and EASIEST recipe last night.
I found these pumpkin spiced marshmallows at Wal-Mart and made pumpkin spice rice krispie treats.
They were so delicious and easy ya’ll must go out and get some!!!

Happy last day of summer and welcome FALL!!!

My May Book + {LINK-UP}

I purchased a May Book a couple weeks ago and finally received it!  I don’t use my phone for scheduling and a calendar.  I am just not that kind of gal.  I love paper, sticky notes, and using pens.  I have been looking for a planner.  Last year I purchased an Erin Condren planner, it was bright, functional, adorable, and had lots of great features….but a bit bulky for my lifestyle.  It’s not something you can just throw in your purse.  My purse weighed 20 pounds when I tried to carry it around. 
Soooo….I got this cutie here and I love it!  It fits my style perfectly!
It has a nice thick laminated cover.
You can also personalize the print and monogram style.
Here is the inside.  I’ll be using the “Weekly Agenda” section to schedule out my blog posts.

DFW Bloggers Paint The Town

I had the BEST time Saturday night meeting up with a fabulous group of DFW bloggers.  It was so nice to put a face with the blog.  I had met a few before, but there were a lot of new faces.  I can’t wait until we all get together for another even because it was so much fun!
We met at A Piece of Work in Fort Worth.  It’s a place where you drink wine, eat, and PAINT! 
I wish I had all the gals links to their blogs, but alas I am too crazy busy this Monday morning to look you all up.  For fear of leaving anyone out I’m just going to say if you’d like to meet this group of gals and get together at local events visit the Facebook page HERE.

A DFW Blog Meetup + Our Weekend

Friday night I had the pleasure of meeting so many fabulous bloggers in the DFW area!  They were ALL so sweet and I can’t wait until we all get back together again.

This weekend we ate dinner at my in-laws house with all the cousins.  Connor LOVES getting together with all his cousins.  It’s so hot outside, but the kids love playing outside.  I am SO ready for fall!!!!
