Pogo Poppit!

I love playing games online.  My favorite site is actually one a co-worker introduced me to years ago called Pogo.  We would play on our lunch breaks or down time.  Pogo has a variety of different games for everyone.

Some of my favorite Pogo games are Lottso, Tri-Peaks solitaire, and Poppit!

When playing Poppit! you try to release “prizes” by popping groups of 2 or more balloons of the same color.  Pop a group of 8 or more balloons to earn a SUPER-POP bonus! A SUPER-POP awards you with more tokens.

I love playing this game and it’s a way to take my mind of things and let my brain relax.  It’s kind of addicting too!  I can sit there and play….before you know it my lunch break is up 🙁

I’ve really enjoyed playing Pogo games over the years.  I’ve been a member since 2002.  It’s a great way to play games with friends and also make new ones.  It’s the modern day version of board and card games and it’s so much fun!

As a mom who works a full time job and also runs a household it’s nice to have a little “me” time every now and then.  I like to take my mind off of things and watch TV or play a fun game like the ones on Pogo.  You can even play Pogo games with Facebook friends and share on Facebook through your wall and news feeds.

Also- I enjoy the Club Pogo subscription.  This allows you to play 40+ exclusive games, earn game badges & ranks, and play without advertisements.

Would you like to try a Pogo.com game like Poppit!?

Brain Dump Post

I took a few photos of my little Cookie Monster last night.  He’s getting so big & every day is more fun than the last.  The only thing is lately it’s become quite hard to drag him out of bed in the mornings.  It’s just AWFUL!  He screams and hollers and wants to continue to sleep.  That’s when the guilt trip usually sets in that I have to get him ready, including myself and make it to work on time….with God I can do anything right?

We also got our album I had made on Shutterfly of our Europe trip.  I loved the way it turned out!  It had almost 100 pages in it!  Do we like photos much???  I look forward to many more travels with you babe!

I don’t know if any of you have tried this.  When my Mom was visiting she told me about this vitamin called “Carnosine”.  She saw it on Dr. Oz and it’s supposed to enhance brain function amongst other things.  I’ve been taking them for a few weeks and I can’t tell a difference, but was wondering if any of you heard of it and have tried them?

A few weeks ago I got my new hiking pack.  I love the color!!!  Yay TCU!!!

Now we just have to plan a camp trip and I can load this baby up with some goodies 🙂

I can’t wait until fall….these 110+ degree days are getting to me & honestly I don’t know if I could stand it very long outside now???  But when the cool weather comes back I am game!

FUNNY STORY:  We went to visit Amber and the boys last week.  I was getting our things ready to go.  Amber kindly cooked us dinner and we had a good visit.  She seems to be doing well.

Anyway….she was running her son Kylon a bath and we were literally gone for 2 minutes and I walked back in & Connor was in the tub with Kylon with ALL his clothes on (including shoes & socks)!!!  So what do you do???  We just stripped him down and the boys had a bath together!  LOL!

Connor has been talking about Kylon all week and  how he wants to go back and play 🙂

SILLY BOYS

Hope ya’ll are having a great day!

GrUVyWear Fun!

Today it was 110 degrees here in Texas.  For real???
We love to cool off in the back yard.  Connor likes to run through the sprinkler or play in his pool.  It’s the only way to get relief around these parts.  The only thing I worry about is his sensive baby skin.  I usually lather him down in SPF 1000.  If he’s anything like his mama he’ll burn like a lobster!
I’m so glad we found GrUVyWear!  They specialize in fashionable, fun, UV protective swim wear that offers a UPF of 50+, blocking over 98% of the sun’s harmful rays.  GrUVywear offers comfortable and stylish UV protective sun wear for babies, kids and adults.
Could this swim outfit be any cuter?  We are definitely ready to hit up the water park now!  Or the ocean, he looks like a little surfer dude. I can finally relax knowing Connor boy won’t get burned and his baby skin is protected.
Connor seemed to love wearing his GrUVyWear outfit.  He ran around like a crazy kid!  I can tell it’s very well made and it will probably last us until next summer if he doesn’t outgrow it.
It’s going to be a hot Texas summer and I know we will be using and loving our GrUVyWear for many days to come!  Splash parks here we come!

 Rockin that GrUVyWear outfit!

Thank you GrUVyWear I love my swimsuit & Mommy loves that I am protected from the sun!

xoxo Connor

Sort of Kind of Fixed

Welp.  After coming home, cooking dinner, and messing with my blog for almost an hour….it is somewhat back to normal.  I lost a bunch of stuff during my “mess up”.  Including my beloved Starbucks wall with links….I may cry.  I don’t know what I did to screw up this thing!  UGH.  Just frustrated that is all…….maybe eventually I can get things back to the way they were.

But it’s not the end of the world…I’m going to go spend some time with my family now!

Issues

I’m having issues with my blog and the layout is all messed up!  I may need someone to help me!!!! UGH.

Is the right column gone or pushed down on anyone else’s computer?

Weekend Wrap Up

On Saturday we all three got around and headed to the outlet malls.  Terence needs some new clothes for his new job.  He’s been working in shorts and t-shirts for the past few years.  He’ll now have to wear a shirt and tie everyday!  A big change for him!  Unfortunately, we didn’t find anything at the mall.  We did find a few things for Connor, but other than that it was a bust.
We did find a few things at the mall on sale later on in the day…so it was a good start!
Of course we fueled up before the day!

Connor got to conduct his own choo choo at the outdoor mall 🙂

We also ate at our favorite (gas station) taco place!  They have the most amazing street tacos and they are so cheap! SO GOOD!

Connor climbing on furniture….he’s been kind of destructive lately.  He pulled up the tracks on his train table that were NAILED down.  I was pretty upset about that because I don’t really think the table is going to be able to withstand another tear down.  We tried to explain to him if he does that again he won’t have a place for his choo choos to ride…but I’m not sure he got it???

Shopping with a toddler.  Don’t you just love how they hide in clothing racks….

I saw this food truck on the street here in Fort Worth.  I’ve GOT to find this Bagon Wagon.  Where are you!!!!  Bacon Bacon Bacon!!!!

Welp, back at work this morning and have got lots to do!  We have our best friends from AR coming with their family this weekend to visit.  I’m so excited!  It’s always nice to have something to look forward to at the end of the week!  Hope you all had a blessed weekend and great memories made!
ALSO–  I’m going to try my hand at some freezer meals.  If you have any recommendations or you’ve done this before please give me some advice because I’ve never done it.  I think it will be good for us, because if there is one thing I struggle with every night it’s “What’s for dinner?”.

xoxo Becky
