Christmas 2010 Part One

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!  Connor has been sick the past couple of days and he’s teething so it’s been fun 🙁  We had a great time in Arkansas with Nana and Poppy, Bonnie, Jason, Jarrett, Nannie, A. Karli, U. Gary, Lindsey, and many friends.  It makes me so homesick when I go home and I always hate coming back.  Driving to the airport and boarding that plane is the worst I tell ya!
I have so many pictures to share that it’s probably going to take a few days for me to post them all.  We had so much fun, memories were made, and love was felt all around!
 BFF’s forever!!!
Playing with cousin Jarrett, Nana, and Poppy

 Cookie Monsters

Opening LOTS of presents….I had to borrow and extra suitcase from Mom and Dad to get all our stuff home!

So many memories….
I’d say the boys first Christmas was a great one and such a blessing!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Isaiah 9:6

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!
We made it back home to Texas yesterday and we had a wonderful time in Arkansas with family.  The time went by so fast and I have about a million bazillion bajillion photos to sort through…..
The airport was pretty crazy, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and Connor was great on the plane!  It’s amazing how helpful strangers are when you have a baby.  I sat next to the nicest lady on the way there and I had a lot of help on the way back too.  I think they could all tell I was frazzled and took pity on me 🙂  All is well and I am glad to be home to my honey, I missed my Ter-Bear and I think he missed us too!
Love you all!
Becky

Leaving on a Jet Plane

We have had a blast in Arkansas!
We have to come home tomorrow and will miss Nana, Poppy, and Aunt Bonnie,Jarrett, and Jason 🙁
The nice lady sitting next to us took a picture of Connor’s first airplane ride, I don’t know what I would have done without her help at the airport!  She was so sweet!

Nana so excited to see us!
WE WILL MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
I have lots of pictures and I hope you all are having a great time getting ready for Christmas!

Ornament Exchange

I participate in an ornament exchange with Karen and Shannon this year.  It was a lot of fun and I love getting mail especially when there is a surprise 🙂  My partner was Laura and I think she chose such a cute ornament!

It’s a “B” for Becky or for Branches 🙂
It has green polka dots on it too!  I was in such a hustle taking pictures I forgot to take one of it on the tree, but it looks great and thank you so much Laura I love my ornament!
Okay-now Connor boy and I are headed to the airport to catch a plane!  Ya’ll have a great week!

One more day and I am headed home to be with my family! I am beyond excited and have been counting down the hours until we leave!!! Woohoo!!!

And a fun little video if you are flying this holiday season…here is what you have to look forward to!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Me & My Shadow

This week is going to be incredibly busy.  I am working until Thursday and then that evening Terence is dropping Connor and I off at the airport so we can fly home to Arkansas.  It will be Connor’s first plane ride and visit to Nannie & Papa’s farm!

Connor has been SUPER clingy lately and it’s hard for me to even sit down without him wanting to play or be held.  He is my shadow…my little kangaroo for sure!  Sometimes he even hangs on me so hard he pulls my pants down!  I hope he never does that one in public!

After the holidays are over I am definitely going to have to go on a diet.  Things like gingerbread and eggnog are not so good for my waistline.  This gingerbread ice cream from Braum’s is so good ya’ll!

Terence and I have been playing sports all night on our XBox Kinect…I am wiped…at least if I have a scoop of ice cream I won’t feel so guilty if I work it off playing video games…ha..ha…

Christmas luncheon 2010

The bank I work at has a travel club and every year I get to help out with their Christmas luncheon.  I really enjoy it and it’s one of the few times I get to see all our travel customers in one place at the same time.  I feel like I have so many surrogate grandparents through the travel club and I love them so much!  They all wanted to see pictures of the baby and I was happy to show them!  I didn’t look like a big silver ornament ball like I did last year..ha…ha..

 Me & Julie
We had a little ornament mishap and left four boxes at work so we had to haul over there quickly Saturday morning so we could get the tables set up before everyone showed up!  Never a dull moment!
 The beautiful table settings
Every person got to take an ornament from the centerpiece home with them
This is one of my favorite customers 🙂
Mr. Mathis is 93 years old and says the secret to his longevity is drinking milk and champagne!
Two more of my favorite people!
 What a crowd!
Me with Terence’s Granddaddy and his precious wife Nell

The entertainment for the day was this guy and he sounded just like Frank Sinatra!  He did a really good job!

Loving all the pretty Christmas decor 🙂
 JoAnn & her hubby B.J.
 Cute little gingerbread people
When I got home yesterday afternoon Terence’s wanted to make some Auntie Annie’s pretzels.  They turned out delicious.  We made some cinnamon sugar and salted ones.  I loved the cinnamon sugar…so good!
Hope you all are having a great weekend!
We just got two new games for our XBox Kinect and have been having fun playing them!  We got Your Shape Fitness & Kinect Sports….after eating these pretzels we had to work off some calories!  It’s been a lot of fun and I don’t feel like I am working out, instead I’m playing a game and competing against Terence….who usually wins! I will beat him eventually though 😛
