Just some Random Thoughts…

I love this time of year.  The temperature is finally falling and it’s feeling nice outside.  I am wearing a scarf just about every day….just because I can 🙂
I remember Connor’s first Halloween like it was yesterday.  My little astronaut sure has grown!

 I love The Incredibles….this family just has to be INCREDIBLE!

I’ve mentioned this before, but if you haven’t check out this book called The Love That is True you really MUST read it.  I think it is one of the best children’s books when it comes to explaining the gospel!

Day 2 promise:

 

Weekend in Crazy Town

We had a fab weekend.  Of course it wasn’t long enough!
It all started Friday night…..ugh……
I was vacuuming out my car because Connor spilled milk in it.  If you’ve ever spilled milk and it’s turned sour….ICK!  It smelled like something died.  I just couldn’t take it anymore so I was cleaning the car.  I left the door to the house open while I was cleaning….then Connor locked me out for almost an HOUR!
Terence wasn’t home yet, in fact he was just leaving work.  Connor had locked both locks on the door, including the deadbolt lock.  He started freaking out a bit then I ran the the front door so he could see me through the side window.  He calmed down a little bit then.  Our neighbors let me use their phone and they tried to help….bless their hearts.  So sweet.
Terence finally made it home and rescued me!  Connor just walked out like nothing ever happened???  Apparently smart people make extra  house keys!!!  The only thing he did inside was dump rice krispies all over the floor….beyond that I have no idea what that kiddo was doing! LOL!
****SATURDAY****
We headed to Dallas to meet our good friends Sarah and Hyung at the new Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.  It did not disappoint.  I love their color….it’s PURPLE!  They also had a lot more beverage options than Starbucks….don’t get me wrong, I still love my Starbucks lady!
I had a dark chocolate coffee blended drink= OMG soooooo good!

We also went to the Galleria and walked around for a bit.  It was VERY rainy Saturday…but I’m so thankful it cooled down the weather!  Now it actually feels like fall outside.
Someone slept all the way home 🙂

God’s promises He has for us…..sometimes we often forget.  This way I won’t 😉

Meshing

I have Christmas on the brain…I know what you are thinking “Becky you are insane”!!!!

I don’t know why, and I am totally NOT skipping over fall festivities and Thanksgiving.  So no worries.

I was thinking of doing our tree a little bit different this year.  Our ribbon from Garden Ridge has seen better days, and honestly I HATE cleaning up all that glitter after the holidays are over.

I’ve always loved the floral aka decorator’s mesh that people use in their Christmas trees, wreaths, and decor.  I Googled “Christmas floral mesh” and these are some images that came up…….

 All you AR fans will LOVE this one!

The thing is I have no idea how to use the stuff??? 

 

 Where do I even find it or buy it???
