I love holidays and all….but I’ve got so much work piled up on my desk right now I really shouldn’t even be writing this blog post. But alas…priorities people!

We had a Rainbow vacuum salesman at our house last night until 10 pm. 10 PM!!!! I mean it pulled up all this crazy nasty dirty icky stuff you can’t even imagine out of our carpet. I just can’t fathom spend 2K on a vacuum cleaner? Do any of you have one? Thoughts?

I’m so tired today I’m about to suck this macchiatto down like there is no tomorrow.

Tried my first salted caramel cake pop at Starbucks this morning.

If this doesn’t give me thunder thighs then I don’t know what will…but OMG amazing!!!

Connor’s freshly cut hair-do. He got about 2 inches off the fro. It’s so much easier to manage now 🙂

On our way home from the big D the other day he slept all the way home like this. I guess he was okay because he didn’t suffocate. It just doesn’t seem right that he always needs a blanket when it’s 110 degrees outside! Looking forward to the weekend cold front- 80’s baby!!!!

Connor has been extra sassy lately. Getting him up in the morning to get ready for the day is my least favorite thing. EVER. The tantrums are wearing on me. He kicked and screamed this morning because he didn’t want to wear the shoes I put on him…..sigh….

He also left a crayon in my car cup holder. Thank you so much! I guess it did need a good wax job?

I ordered Connor’s Halloween costume from Zulily yesterday! Isn’t this the cutest? And get this- only $11.99!!!! Score! Now if he’ll just keep that hat with the rabbit on we’ll be all good 😉

Fall Happenings and Such

This past weekend I went a little fall crazy. I bought some things at HomeGoods for amazing prices 🙂

Including the little sticks there and the candy bowl sign. I also love the glitter pumpkin!

Amber was my partner in crime. Let me tell you shopping with 3 kiddos is crazy town!

Things That Make You Go ???

Connor said he feet hurt the other day. After he told me for the third time I finally looked down and noticed I put his shoes on the wrong feet???

Terence taking us out on a family hike today in 100+ degree temps. I literally had to crawl back to the car. I thought I was going TO.DIE.

Braum’s new nacho cheeseburger. Ewe.

There was a kid on our hiking trip with jeans and a jacket on…how in the world is he alive???

Connor won’t say hi to our friends and family when we ask him to, but he will say hi to every random stranger on the street or in a store. Including the homeless man on the street corner smoking a cig.

You know it’s time for a haircut when someone tells you how beautiful SHE is….meaning your son.

I was so bored this weekend I watched Real Housewives of New Jersey. Now I feel 95% more stupid. Why are the Manzo’s trying to market black water??? Weird.

Anyway….I don’t wanna go back to work tomorrow Mama!!!!! Waaaaahhhhh!!!!

We’ve been having a blast just chilling this weekend as a fam. I love my boys 🙂

My sister in law is awesome. She’s started a great pre-school program with Connor and my niece Ellie. She’s got a gift with children and we are so blessed to have her and the rest of the fam as influences in Connor’s life.

She found some songs that are easy and simple to sing if you have kids around Connor’s age.

Connor loves them. We sing songs on the way to work every morning 🙂

Crafting: What Do You Need?

Everyone has one…or maybe not everyone…but you know what I mean. A closet where you stash stuff. Stuff that you know you’ll use someday. I mean you have to use it someday right? I love throwing get togethers and parties. I’m always on the lookout for a good deal or something festive because I may need it someday.

Some may call this hoarding, but I call it thrifty! Ha ha!

I like to craft and get creative, but I don’t have much time for that business these days. Pinterest certainly doesn’t help that problem. I have so many things pinned for “someday”.

It’s easier to just pin it and forget about it….hopefully someday you’ll come back to it. Unfortunately for me I just keep pinning more stuff. You know because I may need to know how to do that craft or skill…..someday……

So…just curious. What are the essentials you keep on hand at your house? It seems like whenever I start to do a project I’m missing something. It’s like baking a cake and forgetting the eggs constantly!
