We Made it HOME!

We had the BEST Christmas!
It had been a year since we’d seen Bonnie and Jarrett so it was extra special 🙂
I’m trying to recover right now and unpack all our things.  It’s back to the daily grind tomorrow. 
We had a rough trip home to say the least.  Connor has a croupy cough and then he threw up his lunch in the car.  (Of course I was the lucky one to clean that up!)

I was about to jump out the window….there’s only so much my nerves can take!  Poor baby got a bath when we got home and lots of sugars and now he is sleeping soundly for the moment.

Best Friends

We are having the best time visiting in Arkansas! 

Tonight was Jarrett’s 2nd birthday party and so many of our best friends from highschool were there….with all their kids too! I love you all and it was so wonderful to see you and your babies!

Christmas Celebrations Begin!

Last night we had dinner over at Aunt Loyce and Uncle Garry’s house.  They were so sweet to have all of us over.  We had a blast and it was a great way to kick off Christmas week!

After all the festivities are over I have gotsta get back on my diet….ugh….that is all.

If you want to see a frazzled fro headed Momma look below.  I just got off work and then drove home like a mad woman in the rain.  I had no idea my hair was looking so bad???  Terence doesn’t tell me these things!!!!  (Just keeping it real)

Oreo POKE Cake

I made the oreo poke cake that has been on Pinterest.  It’s from HER website.
It turned out great so thought I would share 🙂

Crushed Oreo Cookies (optional)
Poke holes using the end of a spatula
Then poor 2 packages of oreo pudding mix over the top of the cake
Let sit in fridge for a bit
I covered mine with whipped cream and Christmas sprinkles!
I would give this recipe an A+ !!!!






Twas the weekend before Christmas..

We had absolutely nothing to do this morning….shocker!  My Christmas shopping is pretty much done.  We headed to Southlake just to walk around and take in the festivities.  Didn’t buy a thing!

I’m counting down the days until we get to go home to AR next week 🙂
Terence surprised me at work with a new phone. 
It’s a Google Galaxy and I LOVE IT!

Connor loves to pretend like he’s driving.  He’s so fun right now, fit throwing and all you gotta love this age!  He’s my sweet angel boy and I never want him to grow up….just cherishing every second!

He’s finally taking a nap today. 
Connor has not been wanting to take naps at all lately.  It’s been a fit throwing tantrum every single time….hopefully this is just a phase.  He does get spanked over and over and still won’t lay down???
 
I found him in the tub today with all his clothes on WITH the water running…..sigh…it is a fun age right? Sometimes you just have to step back and laugh.
