30th Birthday – Part 2

Friday after I got off work Terence, Connor, & I drove to Arkansas….all night long…
“All night long (all night), All night (all night)
All night long (all night), All night (all night)
All night long (all night), All night (all night)
All night long! (all night), Ooh, yeah (all night)”

Oops!  Sorry got a little carried away there channeling my inner Lionel Richie!

Anyway-  We drove a lot.  We arrived at our BFF Kristin & Nate’s house late that night and spent the night Friday & all Saturday with them.  They have three wild, yet precious kiddos. Oh how I miss those kids!  I miss all our friends and family back home.  Every time we go home and visit I am reminded of how much I miss everything.  I go see my friends who are begging me to come back.  I visit old places I used to work and they are constantly reminding me if I ever did decide to move back I would always have a job if I needed it.  It’s nice to know these things and to feel missed and loved by people.  It’s nice to know they think of me too…..

Saturday we saw the Hangover II (hilarious!).  We also went out for dinner and drinks at Ya Ya’s in Little Rock.  They had a live band and the weather was perfect.  We just sat, relaxed, and listened to music while we ate.  I dropped Connor off with my parents before the movie and it was nice to have an adult night out.

Before we left we met up at Starbucks….here is Kristin with all the kids!
I also got forced her to pose with her Starbucks 🙂
Oh-Here is a pic my Mom took!  She took me shopping on my birthday and I got some really cute clothes!
And we all got pedicures – Me, Nannie, Mom, & Aunt Karli
Ahhhhh…..relaxation indeed.
Okay-back to our visit with the Sullivan’s

I had a great 30th birthday at home in Arkansas with friends and family.  The only thing missing was my twinkie…oh how I missed her so much!  Mom and Dad always make me feel so special and loved.  My Nannie, Aunt Karli, and cousin Lindsey came over to celebrate too.  I have the best family!!!  Thank you so much for making my birthday extra special 🙂

We played in the “Elmo” pool and with Lego’s.  Connor overdosed on alfredo sauce at the Olive Garden.  Terence and I got to see TWO movies in the theater this weekend!  AND-take a few naps!!!
I love my Nana
Thank you Mom, Dad, Nannie, Aunt Karli, and Lindsey for making my 30th such a special day!

We may not always be together in person, but you are always in my heart 🙂

Takeya Giveaway!

I love to make homemade lemonade in the summertime.  I received this AWESOME lemonade maker from Takeya USA a couple of weeks ago and I think it’s pretty snazzy.  Let me show you how it works….

The lemonade pitcher comes with an attachment that filters out all the seeds and lemon pulp.  All you have to do is screw in the top piece and “voila”!!!  I’ve always loved making homemade lemonade, but hated messing with the seeds and all the goop that comes with the process.

Press the lemon down on on the strainer….
Look at all that GOOP!
And there you have it!  A perfect pitcher of lemonade with no seeds, pulp, or mess!

Would you like to win a Takeya USA lemonade maker???

To Enter :
1.  Visit the Takeya USA website and leave a comment on what your favorite product is.
2.  Answer this question : What is your favorite summertime beverage?
