This post is going to be all over the place because my head is all over the place right now! The other day Terence went in to check on Connor during nap time and he found him like this……
Connor was butt naked with his hiney in the air. He took his diaper off all by himself! ha..ha..

And of COURSE he tee tee’d all over his bed 😛

A sweet customer at work brought me a baseball piggy bank she hand painted for Connor with all his stats on it. It is so beautiful and it meant so much that she spent time to do something so personal and special for me. Also, another customer brought me a fern plant last week too! He said he grows them himself and obviously it was something he took great pride in and wanted to give me one! I’m so blessed to have such sweet customers & they mean so much to me 🙂
I ordered this little coat for Connor today on Zulily. Can I just tell you how OBSESSED I am with that site??? I love it!

This is totally random…..
But do ya’ll notice how similar some of the “Real Housewives” look like other celebrities and soap opera divas? I look at them sometimes and say “hmmm..they sure do look like so and so….”

I am so ready for the weekend. I want to just relax and spend time with my family. I would also love to go to the TCU game or hang out with some friends….other than that I don’t have much planned! I hope you all have a great weekend too!

Rock & Roll

Our sweet friend Abby sent us the cutest baby belt from her new website called My Baby Belts. Connor is modeling the one that says “Rock & Roll” on it. It is adorable and I’ve already taken him out wearing it and people are going NUTS over this belt ya’ll!

A day off with my boys

Yesterday I had the day off because it was Columbus Day. Gotta love those federal holidays right??? Terence took the day off to spend with us too. Connor got up and ate then we all slept until 10:30!!! Woohoo for sleeping in! I don’t think either of us have slept that long since before Connor was born.

  • We did our grocery shopping at Target & Connor LOVES to ride in the cart
  • I made my Great Grandma Bonnie’s potato carrot soup. It’s so good I usually make it on a snowy or cold day because it’s really heavy, but I was craving it.
  • We had lunch at McKinley’s & ordered a chocolate ice box pie 🙂

Weekend Update

We had a pretty relaxing weekend. I am sooooo excited because I don’t have to go into work tomorrow! Thank God for federal holidays eh??? Terence got an XBox game so he’s been pretty glued to the TV all weekend and Connor found Daddy’s XBox and decided to press all the buttons….and so it begins!!!ha..ha..ha..

All the ladies love him in the nursery and he’s always so good. He really just loves to be outside the house and interacting with others. Everyone always comments on how observatory he is. You can tell he’s always trying to figure things out. Connor has not been feeling good all weekend and he’s been quite fussy. I think he may be allergic to sweet potatoes because every time we feed them to him he gets sick. He either throws up or has the runs for days….maybe that is TMI..but poor little dude is not happy 🙁 And when he ain’t happy ain’t NOBODY happy!

He’s been crawling everywhere and getting into more things so we definitely have to keep our eyes on this little rug rat because he is on the MOVE!

This week has been….in one word….BUSY!!!

Last night I went home and made 48 cupcakes. I made 24 purple (TCU) and 24 white. I hope they turned out okay. I’m not the best at icing and it was hard to work with last night. After I was finished it looked like Barney the dinosaur exploded in my sink 😛 I was plum tuckered out!

This little guy woke up at 4 a.m. this morning….ugh….

He chugged another bottle at around 7:30 a.m. and then threw it ALL up in the bed!

Poor thing…he’s been stuffy all week and I hope he starts feeling better.

My sweet nephew Jarrett spend the night in the ER last night too with a bad cough. Poor baby boy 🙁 I hope both our baby loves get to feeling better. I know my sis is tired too….
Here is a random self portrait at the pumpkin patch last weekend. Connor’s like “Stop, not another picture Mommy!” It was so much fun I really want to go back with Terence next time.

We also saw a movie on Tuesday courtesy of BlogHer. They gave us tickets to a screening of The Secretariat and it was SO good! Diane Lane is one of my favorite actresses and I really enjoyed this movie. It comes out tonight and it would be a great film to go see with the entire family 🙂
I’m obsessing over Christmas front doors right now….Aren’t these SO pretty???
