Libman Mop Review

Welcome to my messy kitchen everyone!

I was asked by Mom Bloggers Club if I would like to review the new Libman Freedom Spray Mop & of course I said YES!

With a new baby I am constantly cleaning and scrubbing the floors. I’ve tried every kind of mop it seems, so I’m going to give you my honest opinion of this one. I have to say I really really liked it a lot! Some of the things I like about it are that you don’t have to buy a pre-made cleaning solution, you can just poor your own cleaner (whichever you prefer) into the mop. I use a separate cleaner for wood floors in my home. Also, the mop pad really scrubbed my floors! It didn’t just graze the surface like a lot of similar mops do. The cleaner sprayed evenly and I felt like my floors had a good cleaning, it was light weight and very easy to use.

Above is the scrub pad
Here I am scrubbing away!
This mop was so light weight I literally flew around the kitchen 🙂
The cleaning compartment was very easy to remove and fill
The Libman Freedom Mop was very easy to maneuver in and out of all those tight places!

Some of the great features about the Libman Freedom Spray Mop:

■Freedom to choose any cleaning solution you want to put in: Your favorite cleaner, plain water, environmentally friendly solution etc. Removable bottle for easy filling.

■Freedom from costly and wasteful disposable pads- reusable microfiber pad can be machine washed up to 50 times. Safe on all flooring surfaces.

■Freedom from batteries- trigger sprayer allows you to control how much liquid is coming out
Just grab and go, no heavy messy buckets to lug around

■Quality manufactured in the USA (Arcola, IL) by a 4th generation family owned company.

■Sold fully assembled in the mop and broom section of your favorite store

■The Freedom Spray Mop will be available at retailers nationwide beginning August 2010 with a suggested retail price of $19.99 to $24.99.

I’m also giving away (1) Libman Freedom Spray Mop

I Have No Patience

I could not wait to show you all Connor’s Halloween costume! I have absolutely no patience because I get too excited about this sort of thing. I’ve been waiting YEARS to dress my child in a costume and I finally get to do it! Here he is Connor the astronaut….

I think he looks precious! I just hope he doesn’t burn up because it is Texas and it usually doesn’t get cool here until mid-November. It’s also something that both Terence and I both agreed on.

Speaking of astronauts : “Houston we may have a problem on our hands!”
Future crawler alert!!!! And VERY soon!!!!
He’s been moving and shaking like crazy lately, I know he’ll be crawling in no time!
I found out this week they are building an In-N-Out Burger restaurant literally 5 minutes from where I work!!!! I have only been there a few times when I visited Bonnie in Vegas and it’s so good! In-N-Out here I come!!!
Although I may be more “IN” than “OUT” of there 😛
I hope you all are having a great week friends! XOXO – Becky

Out & About

Our weekends seem to fly by so fast these days. As I’m sitting her trying to recap what we did I am drawing a blank, but I am sure it will come to me! I have had a crazy day and I FORGOT Connor’s bottles on the counter this morning!!! I got all the way to my in-law’s house to drop him off and opened the back door to my car and my heart sank. I didn’t have enough time to go back so my sweet father in law drove all the way back to our house to pick them up so I could make it to work on time. I am so thankful for them and all they do for us! Connor is so lucky to have his Pop & Granna!

Terence has been pretty busy at work so on the weekend I try to make it as relaxing as possible for him. He went golfing with his friend this weekend and had a fun time! I think it’s good for all of us to get out and spend time with friends & have alone time every now and then….for our sanity!!! Ha..ha..
Connor & Mommy went to the Godiva store and got a Chocolixir drink and I tried the new “Chocolate Lava Cake” and the “Red Velvet Cake” truffle. They were both pretty good, but I think I will stick to my traditional extra dark chocolate. Remember to join the Godiva Rewards Club and you get a FREE truffle every month.

We ate lunch at Chitos. It’s a little Mexican place on the side of a gas station. I was a little scared when I heard about this place, but it was actually very nice and the customer service was excellent! I mean you can’t beat tacos for $1.00!!! And they were SO delish!

I am loving all the new hats at Baby Gap right now
Here is Connor trying on the lion hat
I-L-O-V-E-I-T!!!
“Hear me roar!”

This one is for Nana who loves penguins
I think he was tired of trying on hats at this point and kept yanking it off
And I’ll just let this shirt speak for itself!
ha..ha..too cute!

Show Us Your Life-Living Rooms

Connor won all sorts of new toys from Baby Einstein! I follow them on Twitter and every week they have a giveaway and we WON! I am so excited and so is he 🙂

This week @ Kelly’s Korner it’s show us your living rooms

We just moved into our house less than a year ago so it’s still a work in progress. We watch a lot of TV so we invested in a nice speaker system & surround sound in the ceilings. According to my husband it’s extremely important we have this 😛

Our house is very open & I’ve already posted a lot of pictures on the blog, but here is an official tour. We have very dark floors and furniture so we are trying to keep things light as far as accessories, the rug, and curtains. Our favorite places to shop are Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn.

We are slowly decorating, but as you can see we are in baby land right now so I try to keep things organized! I normally have a big blanket with toys spread out all over the floors.

You can see from here how open everything is to the kitchen. I like it, but sometimes it echoes easily!

Okay I guess that is it from our crib!
See you all on Monday 🙂

Friday Fun

I got Connor a trick or treat bag
Exciting stuff….I know….
Look who is trying his hardest to crawl
We’ve had lots of face plants lately!
“I can do it Momma!”

Nikon came out with their NEWEST beauty and I am drooling over it.
Introducing the Nikon D7000

For some reason he looks really startled in this picture???

Here is one of the only dishes I can cook decently
Lasagna….it was delish!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend friends!

Fall Decorating Love

I love this time of year! I get so excited when I see all the fall and Halloween items start to line the shelves in stores. It means Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner and I live for the cool crisp air, scarves, and decorating! We don’t celebrate the meaning of Halloween, but I have ordered a costume for Connor to wear (more for photos and memories) than anything else. You all know how I love to play dress up & sometimes I wonder if Connor even KNOWS how lucky he is that we had a boy or I would go a little over board! I’m in the mood to make some pumpkin bread & sit with a cup of coffee and go through festive holiday magazines….anyone with me??? I absolutely LOVE the cake stands above

The banner and salt & pepper shakers are so cute

I wish I could properly make a pom pom out of tissue paper, every time I try it looks like a blob of crumbled paper 🙁

HAPPY DECORATING FRIENDS!

I Don’t want to Forget

Well-as you probably know from my lack of blogging lately we’ve been quite busy! Two weekends in a row we had friends from out of town staying with us, so it was nice to have last weekend to recover from being so busy. I’ve forgotten to include some stuff on the blog and some pictures from the past couple of weeks. So before I forget all we’ve been up to here it goes!

I styled little C-man’s hair and I think he liked it 🙂
I only put product in his hair every now and then because I don’t want to over-do it!

Connor loves to sit with us while we are on the computer and we Skype a lot with my parents and sister. He spends most of his time trying to grab the screen or slam his hands on the keyboard.

We had Adam & Christa over on Saturday and we went to the Olive Garden for lunch. Christa is getting lessons on feeding bottles and changing diapers! LOL! I had the never ending pasta bowl at the Olive Garden. I don’t know why they call it “never ending” because I can’t even finish ONE bowl! Adam & Christa love Connor so much, it cracks me up because they are just so anxious to hold him and give him snuggles 🙂 They are so sweet!

My lovely hubby…can you tell he loves to have his picture taken?

So does Adam 😛
He kept waving his arms around so I couldn’t take photos of him because he didn’t want to end of on this BLOG!!! News Flash : I STILL PUT IT UP!!! HA..HA..
Connor loves his BFF cousin Arielle
They will both be crawling before you know it!

On the weekends we have to support our TCU Froggies 🙂

Here is a pic of the three of us on the train I forgot to include
I want to remember Connor’s first train ride!

Granna strolling us around the neighborhood
We love our Granna so much!

Sometimes in the mornings Connor also helps Mama get ready
He got into my eyeshadow and started eating it! Oops!
He’s also been sitting up like a big boy in shopping carts now!!!
Here we are at Target…where I could cruise for hours!
We are so blessed! Connor is such a GOOD baby and I can’t wait to get home to him every day!
Just some things I wanted to remember….life is passing by so quickly these days….
Hope you all are having a good week!
XOXO – Becky
