Well-as you probably know from my lack of blogging lately we’ve been quite busy! Two weekends in a row we had friends from out of town staying with us, so it was nice to have last weekend to recover from being so busy. I’ve forgotten to include some stuff on the blog and some pictures from the past couple of weeks. So before I forget all we’ve been up to here it goes!
I styled little C-man’s hair and I think he liked it 🙂
I only put product in his hair every now and then because I don’t want to over-do it!
Connor loves to sit with us while we are on the computer and we Skype a lot with my parents and sister. He spends most of his time trying to grab the screen or slam his hands on the keyboard.
We had Adam & Christa over on Saturday and we went to the Olive Garden for lunch. Christa is getting lessons on feeding bottles and changing diapers! LOL! I had the never ending pasta bowl at the Olive Garden. I don’t know why they call it “never ending” because I can’t even finish ONE bowl! Adam & Christa love Connor so much, it cracks me up because they are just so anxious to hold him and give him snuggles 🙂 They are so sweet!
My lovely hubby…can you tell he loves to have his picture taken?
On the weekends we have to support our TCU Froggies 🙂
I’ve seen lots of bloggers doing this lately and it’s kind of funny. It’s like MTV cribs…show us what is in your fridge. So here’s the Branch household edition of our crib yo!

Our pantry is a MESS!
Top shelf : cupcake carrier, hand mixer, wine opener
2nd shelf: jam, spaghetti sauce, french press, oil, pudding, & syrup
3rd shelf: cookbooks, my beloved Kitchenaid mixer, baking supplies (sugar, flower)
4th shelf: Carnation Instant Breakfast, noodles, hot chocolate, sauces, crackers, & salsa
5th shelf: Cereal & chips, chocolate cake ball supplies, noodles
Floor: grocery bags & paper towels

I’m kind of embarrassed to show this one because our fridge is empty…we obviously DO eat because we have bellies 😛
Coffee creamer, milk, dark chocolate syrup
I think we are missing something????
It has been QUITE a day in the Branch fam! Terence took Connor to his 6 month doctor appointment this morning and everything went well, but Terence called me at work and said they wanted to do some x-rays on his head. They were concerned about how his skull was growing together, so the Doctor just wanted to double check. It scared me to death so I left work and met Terence up at Cook Children’s. Connor did NOT like laying on that cold table, especially after just having five shots! I was so glad I was there to comfort him though. He’s been really snugly and clingy lately 🙂 The hospital called before I even got back to work and said everything looked NORMAL!!! Praise the Lord! It’s just been a crazy day and poor thing is running a 101.7 degree fever tonight. So glad tomorrow is Friday!
This past weekend our good friends Kristin & Nate came to visit us from Arkansas. They brought all three of their kids-Brayden (8), Abby (4), and Lane (2). It so much fun to catch up with them since we haven’t seen them in a long time! We appreciate them driving here to see us!
Saturday we woke up and ate breakfast at IHOP. Kristin and I had our favorite chocolate chip pancakes. Afterwards we headed to the mall and shopped a bit. That afternoon we drove to Fort Worth and rode the train outside the Zoo. It was a lot of fun and all the kids really liked it!
It was great weather this weekend 🙂

One place we had to go to is The Cheesecake Factory. We all gorged on food, including chocolate cake and Godiva cheesecake! Kristin and I LOVE our chocolate! We shopped around some more and let me just say that shopping for “jeggings” with someone who is a size zero is depressing! ha..ha..ha.. She looks great for having three kiddos though! I am not genetically inclined to EVER be a size zero or ever wear JEGGINGS!!!!
