Rebecca & Joel

Rebecca (Terence’s youngest sister) and her fiance Joel had their engagement pictures today. They were taken by an AWESOME photographer named Ginger! You all should go check out her site…she is so talented! And she just found out she was pregnant yesterday…CONGRATULATIONS GINGER!!!!

She let me tag along for the shoot and I only took a few snaps of them…her pictures will be up in a few days and go check them out at her SITE.

Here is Ginger posing them….

Explanation for the hair

Okay-My Dad explained his hair that he is wearing in the picture below…he called this afternoon and this was our conversation :

ME: “Dad what was that on your head?”
DAD: “What do you mean?”
ME: “You know that hair from the text you sent me?”
DAD: “It was Jesus hair”
ME: “What…what do you mean?”
DAD: “Yeah…Jesus was having a bad hair day!”
ME: “HAAAAA….HAAAAAA….HAAAAAA”

(Apparently he was at church and it must have been a prop for their Easter program…note to self…don’t leave Dad alone in a room full of church props!)

Chain Letters

Our friend Summer started a lottery ticket chain mail a few weeks ago. So I participated and the deal is you send off six tickets to friends and your supposed to get 30-something tickets back in the mail in return…well, so far I haven’t gotten any! I sent one of the chain letters to my friend Nicole and she won $25! Woohoo!!! I got one back from her and I won another ticket….well, the problem with that is it was a Missouri lotto ticket and I couldn’t cash it in here in Texas. So I mailed off my ticket a few days ago thinking I would get another scratch off ticket, only instead I recieved a WHOPPING check for $1.00!
Oh boy! ha..ha..I just thought that was funny!

Nicole, you need to mail yours off and get your TX money!

My Nannie bought me this bag last weekend and I love it! It is a laptop bag, but I use it for other things too. It’s got a plastic material over it so it won’t get dirty and I love the pattern. 🙂

Lindsey Sue – A Starbucks junkie in the making

While in Arkansas Bon and I took my cousin, Lindsey, to Starbucks. They don’t have any Starbucks where she lives and I don’t think she has ever been to one. Bonnie and I just HAD to take her there of course! We ordered her a vanilla bean frapuccino because she is young we thought she wouldn’t like the espresso drinks we order normally.

She drank her frapuccino and said “this doesn’t taste like it has ANY coffee in it?” And I said “well, did you want coffee?” “We figured you wouldn’t like it because it’s so strong” So we let her try our latte and she said “that is MUCH better!” ha..ha..another Starbucks junkie in the making….I guess it runs in family? Who would have thought? We love you Lindsey Sue!
