I’m so anxious to get home and see my family! Bonnie is leaving this weekend and I wish I could go with her. Terence and I are planning to leave on Christmas eve and drive all the way to my Nannie’s house that day, which is about 8 hours. I hope the weather is good for us.

Terence had to get some brake work on his car done yesterday and that was not cheap so I was sort of bummed about that. Then today I got a call and I got a great Christmas bonus which I am THRILLED about! It’s amazing how the Lord always provides when you need it!

Tonight we had our big Christmas party for work in downtown Fort Worth at a really nice restaurant. It was a lot of fun! I had brought my camera, but forgot the memory card at home so I didn’t get any pics. 🙁

I hope everyone is having a good week and gearing up for Christmas! It’s the most wonderful time of the year and it’s almost here!!!

Home Sweet Home???

We LOVE this house!

We loved this house and looked at it tonight! I would have bought it tonight if I could have! I love the sun room and the kitchen. I can’t wait to decorate and paint and all that good stuff…I’m getting excited, but also trying to be patient! It sure is fun to look in the mean time. 🙂
Tonight we had family Christmas with Terence’s family. I am too tired to post much tonight, but I’ll leave you with a few pics and post the rest tomorrow! (sorry I look so raggedy, but it’s been a LOOONG DAY!)Stockings all hung in a row!The beautiful Christmas treeMy favorite gift and it may really help my marriage too..ha..ha..a sleep mask! I really wanted one of these because Terence likes to sit in bed and watch tv and I can’t sleep with the lights on!

It was a GREAT night with family….more to come tomorrow!

Terence and I went and looked at some townhouses for sale tonight. This was mostly just for fun, but we also wanted to look at them and get some ideas because hopefully in the NEAR future we will be purchasing a home….I would love for that to be in AR, but I will be thankful for wherever the Lord provides.
I just got off the phone with my Mom and every time I talk to her or my Dad my heart just aches because I miss them so much! Anyone know of any MBA/business management jobs in AR??? ha..ha..ha..

Below are some pics of the townhouses, we saw two of them. They just lowered the prices by 40K last week! The market isn’t doing great…but I guess that is a good thing for us!

The second kitchen, we like this one the best!

All in all I think I am still leaning towards purchasing a house. I’m not all that impressed with the condo/townhouse lifestyle. I know it’s less maintenance, but I really want my own house. The layouts in these two were also kind of weird. The kitchen/main living area was on the SECOND floor. The main level was an entry/office/guest bedroom/bath. The second level was a powder room/kitchen/living area. The third level was the master bedroom/bath. It was a great view from the top, but all those stairs were daunting!

New Bed!

*CANCELLED BED-IT WAS BACK-ORDERED 5 MONTHS!*

We bought a new bed tonight while shopping in Dallas. Terence and I have been saving for things we are going to need to furnish our house next year. We both really liked this bed and have been eying it for awhile. It was on sale and we are so excited about our new beautiful bed!

Restoration Hardware Rocks!

Shopping in a winter wonderland!

Well…it’s official! Our Christmas shopping is DONE! We have shopped until we dropped! Yesterday Terence and I went shopping and then ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. We sat out on the patio area and it was a little too cold to eat outside last night! They did have heaters and everything and it also gave me an excuse to try their hot chocolate because I was so coooold!

Here’s the view shopping…isn’t it pretty?

Tonight we went to Dallas and the Galleria had the most beautiful Christmas trees. One was in the ice rink and they had little girls ice skating all around it. It was precious! I just love this time of year!

Beautiful lit up trees

This is a cute display at a house down the street and I had to take a picture for my Mom because she just loves penguins and these are adorable.

I got these fabulous blinky antlers at one of my favorite stores Restoration Hardware. They have the cutest little stocking stuffers and we love their furniture and just about everything else they have in the store!

How’s ya’ll’s Christmas shopping going? It’s only 12 days away!!!!
