Yesterday a mama duck and her six ducklings marched right in front of the door at work yesterday. Is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? They were so tiny!

27!!!

I turned 27 on Friday! I’m feeling old-er definately! My co-workers are so sweet they brought in pancakes with strawberries, sausage, and eggs for breakfast yesterday. They also got me the lovely chocolate cake above and a Barnes and Noble gift card b/c I always read! They are so sweet and I feel so blessed that they made me feel so special 🙂

Terence’s Mom made me a birthday dinner last night with the family as well. And Today Terence took me to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and I splurged on a Godiva cheesecake! YUM! I’ve had a great weekend/birthday and I’m so thankful for such wonderful family and friends!

Terence will kill me for putting this on the blog! I barely recognized him at the airport because he looks like a tomato! He went camping and to the lake with his friends and came back pretty crispy!!!

Trip Home








Oh what a great weekend!!! I want to go back home already 🙁
Papa was feeling pretty good on Saturday and we stuffed ourselves silly, visited, and celebrated my, Bonnie, and Lindsey’s birthdays. I love my family so much…why did I agree to move? Mom and Dad took us to go see the new Indiana Jones movie on Saturday and to the Olive Garden. We shopped a lot and did our “girl” stuff together. Mom and Dad spoil us so bad when we come home now it’s so funny! Bonnie and I sat in on my Dad Sunday morning. He has been teaching the kindergarden-2nd grade class. They were so cute and very ACTIVE! It was a great time and I can’t wait until July when my next visit comes around! Love you bunches everyone and thanks for everything!


I got my new purse in the mail today and I love it! The inside is pink, which is extra cool 🙂
Well, I am off to Arkansas tomorrow for a lovely three day weekend with my family!!!! Yipppeee!!!! I better get to packing and I have some laundry to do. Terence is going camping with his buddies and to the lake so I’m sure he’ll be fine without me! Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Heat wave!


Okay ya’ll it was freaking hot today and I thought I was going to choke when I got in my car to go home…and it’s only MAY! I hate to sweat and I much prefer colder weather. How am I going to get through the next few months people???

ha..ha..this is Terence’s “peacock hair” he took his hat off and was sitting outside reading and I walked by and was like “babe you totally have peacock hair!” It was hilarious!

And lastly this is a text my father sent me yesterday. Since we have left the house my parents are annoyingly cute and romantic about stuff and my Dad likes to keep us updated on all they do…and here is a profession of their love in sidewalk chalk! Terence thinks it’s so funny how silly they are sometimes (if you knew my Dad he’s a goofball!), but I think it’s cute and I’m glad my parents are still so in love after all these years!
