Traveler’s Game

Daddy took us all to a Traveler’s game tonight! It was a lot of fun! We have the BESTESTESTESTTTTTT DADDY EVER!!! They built a new stadium in North Little Rock, it was so nice. The only thing that scared me was getting hit by a foul ball…a couple came in our direction!!! Thanks for a great night Dad, we love you bunches and bunches!!

Rainy Days….make me tired! I woke up this morning and left for work looking good, until I got downstairs and realized it was pooring rain. I ran to my car as fast as I could, but not before it drenched my nicely styled mane…so now I am stuck with a ponytail for the rest of the day. Why can’t I ever have a close parking spot on days like today?

In other news, this weekend went good. I went to Conway and put some stuff into the neighborhood garage sale for Saturday. Terence went down Friday night and helped me get a bunch of stuff down from the attic at my parents house. We made close to $200 on all our junk! Yeah! Gave a lot to goodwill though. Since we will probably be moving I wanted to get rid of a lot of stuff I didn’t want to keep up with.

Saturday night we went to Terence’s awards ceremony for the honor society at school ( I don’t remember what it’s called???) He paid an extra $15 for me to attend. You would think that would buy you a sit down dinner right? We got there and it was only finger foods….hmmmm
It was a very nice ceremony regardless and I was glad to be there! I’m so proud of my Ter-Bear! He also got into the honor society for business majors and is getting an award for top student in his major! He’s worked so hard, I know he’ll be glad when this is over!

I was also sick this weekend and therefore have been slacking on going to the gym. I need to get back into it, but man it’s hard. These next few weekends are going to be really busy. Terence is walking for graduation in a couple weeks, even thought he won’t be done til summer, Toad Suck Daze is next weekend, Rebecca (sister-in-law) graduation is the next weekend in Texas…..busy…busy…busy…..

Well…that’s all I can think of to write about what’s been going on for now….but I will keep ya’ll updated in the weeks to come!

Easter 2007

Easter was great! I had a good time at Nannie & Papa’s…as always 🙂

God has blessed me with an amazing family, and I am reminded of that everytime we get together. Lindsey and I were the only grankids that were there this year, but we got all the “pettin” as Mom said! It was good to see everyone and visit. I love you all! Becky 🙂

Good Friday

We all need to remember what this weekend is really about. This weekend is the celebration of our Lord and Savior’s resurrection!!! Yes, we do get to eat good yummy food and lots of candy, but that is not what Easter is about. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for us and saving our sins.

I will be going to Nannie and Papa’s for Easter. I know there will be good cooking and family time. I just don’t get to see them as much as I’d like. Terence won’t be able to celebrate Easter with us again this year….which kinda makes me upset because I’d like him to be with some sort of family, but homework it is I suppose…..

That is another reason I can’t wait for him to finish school….so he can have a life again. Maybe after he finishes I can go back once we get settled somewhere. Of course I’ll have to work while going to school, so I guess it will be a slow process, but the point is you’ve accomplished something. I don’t have a major or anything yet, how do you know what you want to do for the rest of your life? That is a tough question. I tend to try and rush my life away, when I need to focus on the little things more.

I was reading a story online the other day about an old man who finished writing a book in his 90’s. Good for him. He said it helped him with the grief over losing his wife of many years. He said “At my age you don’t have a future to look forward to, everything that was or is important to you was in the past.” So that is what he wrote about, his past. I can’t imagine not having anything to look forward to in life, everything you’ve lived was behind you. It just makes me think about life, and the fact that I am still young, and do have time to choose the things I want to do. I don’t want to waste those choices. God gave us life, Jesus saved our lives, now we must live our lives to the best of our abilities.

Hope everyone has a blessed Easter!!!

XOXO Becky 🙂

tax season….grrrrr…..

4:30 a.m. – Get up at go to gym
Elliptical – 4.5 miles (burned 500 cal.)

I’m so tired….but glad I got up and got the gym over with today! I even went on Saturday, but mostly out of boredom and I had nothing to do because Terence was working. Yesterday we went to Conway to watch Mom and Dad in their Easter musical at church. It was really good! I’m so proud of my mom and dad!

Later in the afternoon we cleaned out our storage unit and got out tons of stuff to sell at the neighborhood garage sale. Mom & Dad have one every year. We’re definately going to need the extra moolah! Terence has summer semester coming up, we may (possibly) owe money this year on taxes, and we just paid $260 in taxes on the car! We’ll catch up eventually! Terence did our taxes online to just “see” what we may owe/get back, and it said we would owe money this year!!! And that just doesn’t make sense to me because I worked two jobs last year so we could make ends meet and Terence is a full time student???? Government+taxes=EVIL! I guess we’ll truck it down to HR Block to see if they can get us a better rate. Hope everyone’s weekends were good!
