Connor’s school had the cutest Halloween parade and they invited all the parents to come. Each class made their own costumes too! It was so cute and of course Connor has a Batman car 🙂

Every year the place I work has a theme, so I usually dress up that day. This year’s theme is “What did you want to be when you were young?” So you’ll see that soon I’m sure!
We usually take Connor around the block for awhile and then go back home and pass out candy. Passing out candy is one of my favorite things to do because I just love to visit and see all the costumes.
3. My favorite candy is
Godiva. I don’t like Hershey’s or cheap candy. I do like an occasional Reese’s cup. I LOVE Kinder anything! It’s a chocolate from Germany that I wait every year for them to come out with around the holidays.
I love dark chocolate.
Fall Weekend Wrap-Up
We had a fun weekend full of fall activities. Ahem…even though it was in the 90’s!!! I had a couple of photo shoots that were a lot of fun and Connor and Terence went camping and roughed it Friday night. They both came home and were like “It was WAY too hot to camp!”
The picture below is of a pumpkin carving contest in downtown Fort Worth. We met my friend Diana there and it was a LOT of fun! Nice to make the mess at some place else besides my house 😉 We carved none other than a Batman pumpkin. Or I should say that I did….Connor wasn’t too keen on the insides of a pumpkin.
He did get his face painted like a blue Batman. 🙂
On Saturday night we attended Trunk or Treat at Connor’s school. I must be such a dumb dumb because I didn’t really understand what “Trunk or Treat” meant??? I thought it was going to be inside. Then people started popping their trunks and decorating them. We just brought a bowl of candy. Oh well….the kiddos had fun and that’s all that matters! Now I officially know what Trunk or Treat is though 😉

Lufthansa Taste of America Dinner Party
Last week we attended a fancy dinner hosted by Lufthansa USA. Lufthansa is kicking off their #TasteOfAmerica food truck journey across the country and will be hosting different events along the way.
We celebrated Lufthansa’s new regionally-inspired menus and had the opportunity to try the onboard experience on the ground at an exclusive dinner party in Irving.
We walked into a beautiful home and were immediately greeted with champagne accompanied by the music of a string band. We mingled for a bit and then were all escorted out to the patio of the estate.
Everything looked so gorgeous! The tablescape and atmosphere made for a perfect fall evening.
We were all served a five-course dinner complete with wine pairing. Everything was delicious! If this is considered “airplane food” then sign me up honey! It was like eating at a 5 star restaurant. We were served exactly how you would be on the plane. The menu is available to passengers in first class and business.
We started off with an appetizer & small entrée.
For the main course I chose pumpkin ravioli and Terence got the beef dish. Both were superb!
After the main course we were served cheese platters and then dessert.
I chose the molten chocolate cake and OMG. Sooooo good! There was also an apple pie tart that looked amazing too!
We had the best night out thanks to Lufthansa. If you fly with them anytime soon I’m 100% convinced you will LOVE the new menu! Thank you Lufthansa for the wonderful food, company, and treating us to such a fabulous night out!
