1. My daily hair routine consists of
I only wash my hair every 2-3 days.  When I don’t wash it I used a dry shampoo.  I like the Batiste for Blondes brand.  I also use Got 2B hair powder…it’s amazing stuff and gives you the “perfect poof”. I don’t use a certain brand of shampoo or conditioner, I usually just buy what’s on sale.  My favorite hair spray is Kenra Finishing Spray.  That’s about it for my hair!  I usually just pull it up part way, I don’t like having my bangs in my face.

2. The best hair advice I’ve received
Don’t over wash your hair, it causes breakage.  Also, don’t brush it too much…that causes damage too.

3. My hair idol is

Julianne Hough.  I love her hair short or long she always styles it great.  I wish she didn’t chop it all off…but she seems to be growing it out nicely.

Show us Your Life Singles: Kyle

I’m linking up with Kelly’s Korner today.  It’s amazing how many couples have found each other through her blog and are now married and have kids!  Just CRAZY!

Okay, I’ve put this guy up on here before and he’s FULLY aware he is on here again.  He just hasn’t found his soul mate yet.  Kyle has been Terence’s best friend since they were in pre-school.  He was in our wedding 13 years ago and I am bound and determined to find the right gal for him.

Kyle is 33 years old.  He IS employed and has a good job!  He practically lives on the water and on his boat.  If he had gills I think he would be a fish.  Kyle is looking for a woman who is fun, likes the outdoors (especially the water), likes to try new things, laid back.

Basically he told me he’s looking for a tom boy who likes to have fun.  Someone who is physically fit and enjoys a laid back life style.  He’s not into girly girls who have a 50 pairs of red shoes or worry about their makeup constantly.  He’s looking for someone who is easy to talk to, relaxed, and easy-going.

Kyle loves to travel, snorkel, and is very adventurous.

If you fit the bill then email me at beckylbranch@gmail.com and I’ll pass along your information.  He’s in the DFW area, so if you live here then give me a shout!

Here are a few pictures of Kyle:

1. I feel stupid when
I don’t know what I am talking about.  That happens sometimes or I make up words.  I just brush it off like I knew what I was talking about all along!!!  Ha ha!  For realz. Legit. Cray Cray. MAJ!.  Bootydoo.  You know stuff like that…whatevs.

2. I hope I never
Lose the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart.  Nobody’s ever going to steal my joy sista!  No matter what.  I wake up day and it’s new and living each day with JOY is my goal.  Focus on the positive not the negative.  Nobody likes a Debbie Downer…we got too many of those folks in the world.

3. My one piece of advice to the world

Be authentic.  Be who you are and own it.  Money can’t buy happiness.  Don’t worry about tomorrow, because it’s all in God’s hands anyway.  Too many nights my head hits the pillow and that’s when my head start reeling with things to do or things I forgot to do.

Take a chill pill and just relax.  (Easier said that done right?)

Have fun. Live each day for what it is….a blessing!

Happy Wednesday Lovelies 🙂

This lil guy makes every day worth it!

Digging For Dino Bones: Cool Whip Back to School #AddCoolWhip #CollectiveBias

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

Connor officially starts Pre-K on Monday.  Of course he’s been going to “summer camp school” all summer.  But his official start date back to pre-school is Monday.  He’s been learning about dinosaurs for the past month in his class.  He’s just crazy about dinosaurs and fossils and dinosaur bones!  He’s been asking tons of questions and loves learning their names and all about them.

I thought it would be fun to make a snack using dinosaurs.  I headed to Walmart and bought some Cool Whip (for the snowy peaks) and some Jell-O mix to fossilize the dinosaur bones.

I made a big bowl of Jell-O and hid dinosaur bones inside for a quick and easy snack.  Then I topped it off with snowy peaks of Cool Whip.

You can also use Jell-O Pudding mix.  I prefer chocolate because it looks like mud and put some cookie crumbles on top for dirt.  Then do your dino dig that way!

Right now you can save $1.00 when you buy ONE tub of Cool Whip Topping and any TWO boxes of Jell-O Pudding Mix. *While Supplies Last*

I used two packages of Strawberry Jell-O and a large tub of Cool Whip.  I buried a few dinosaur bones and let the Jell-O harden.  Then topped with the Cool Whip.  It was super easy and Connor LOVED it!

You can kind of see the fossils below buried in the Jell-O.
