I ordered Connor’s Valentine’s cards for his class today from Cardstore. There is a link to it on the right hand sidebar with a great coupon code. I think I paid like $12 for his whole class 🙂
If you ever doubted he’s my kid….
Are you following us on #seflieaday on Instagram????
My Mommy made this BEAUTIFUL scarf for me. I just love all the colors. I’m wearing it to work today 🙂 Thank you Mommy I love you so much!
What are y’alls plans for the weekend???
Things I Must Share with YOU!
First of all I don’t want you to forget to sign up for this fab event in the Fort Worth area. It’s going to be so much fun!
Connor’s been having so much fun on his new bike. He’s getting really good at balancing. I’m glad we got this bike before one with training wheels because he learns to balance before peddling.
The suckers came in from Amazon for our Valentine treats. I was a little worried because some of the reviews said the suckers got broken. Mine came in and I didn’t have a single broken sucker!!!! Yay!
Last weekend when I was at the Kiki La’Rue sale I also got some necklaces from The Shine Project and I LOVE them! It’s for a great cause too. All the jewelry is made by kids and the money goes towards their college educations.
A few weeks ago we got to try some Chisholm Trail beef. It was so good! Terence made street tacos with it. The beef was super lean and great quality. Chisholm Trail Beef is 100% grass-fed on local Texas ranches. Their ranchers are committed to preserving the real taste of delicious, natural beef and the old-fashioned principles of caring for livestock and land. At Chisholm Trail, we add zero hormones, no unnecessary antibiotics and not one animal ever sees a factory farm or feedlot. Y’all should definitely try it!
How’s your week going???

1. If I could make anything grow on trees, it would be…
I’m not going to lie and say it would have a tree that grew a bunch of Benjamins. That or Godiva truffles would be AWESOME sauce!

We Can’t Live Without Peanut Butter! #MC
“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Smucker’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
Living in a home with a 3-year-old it’s tough to get him to eat enough protein or ANYTHING for that matter. Connor loves peanut butter, I think we have at least 3 jars right now! Maybe I’m afraid of running out?
He has peanut butter & apples or peanut butter & jelly at least a couple of times a week. Our favorite brand is Laura Scudder’s – he absolutely loves it. And what’s even better is that this January, Smucker’s, Laura Scudder’s and Adams Natural Peanut Butter have teamed up to support the national parks through a $100,000 donation to the National Parks Conservation Association’s (NPCA) America’s Great Waters Program.
Starting in January, look for the .25 cent-off coupons on shelves in your local stores towards the purchase of a jar of natural peanut butter. For every coupon redeemed by March 24, 2014, Smucker’s will donate $1 to the NPCA, up to an additional $50,000. In the meantime, check out the Smucker’s Naturals Facebook page for ways you can make a difference in your community this year. I hope you all can join in this great cause too!
