We had a great weekend and as always it was a whirlwind and goes by so fast. The temperatures here have been well over 100 degrees and are going to continue to be for at least the next week. I cannot WAIT until fall right now. I hate to sweat or anything having to do with hot weather. I’m looking forward to taking Connor to the pumpkin patch and dressing him up for Halloween π Do you think it’s stupid to dress your baby up for Halloween at this age? I like to do it because it’s so cute, it’s more for me and a photo opportunity than actually trick-or-treating. Although I wouldn’t mind strolling him around so I can get some candy! ha..ha…
We ate out more than usual this weekend because we have been putting off going to the grocery store and it never got done this weekend. Fail. I have promised myself we will go tonight because we have ABSOLUTELY no food in our house…no milk…no bread…nothing!!! It’s too expensive to eat out so we need to go. I do use a lot of coupons when we eat out though and we always order water. I have a coupon for Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, Red Lobster, Firehouse Subs, & a few others I can’t think of right now. That is the ONLY reason I subscribe to the Sunday paper is for the coupons.
Last week I noticed in the CVS ad they had Pampers diapers with $10 CVS reward bucks. One per card holder. So I went by and paid $21.99 for a box, but I got $10 in reward bucks, so I’ll go by there this week and get another box for $11.99…so it’s like getting them both almost half off. Gotta shop for those deals! Diapers are expensive!
Just to prove how hot it was…..120!!!!
I’m meeeellllltttttiiiiiinnnnnggggg!!!!
First off, can we talk about how great you look?! Girl, seriously…you look so pretty!
And yes, PLEASE fall weather, hurry up! I’m so over the 100 degree days and humid nights!
It was literally 115 on my car yesterday and I pretty much thought that I was literally going to melt, ha! Preggers and 115 degree heat=no bueno!
Stay cool! And dressing up for Halloween is fair game at any age!
Dress him up!!
I think babies are the cutest when their dressed up.
I was so glad you stopped by my blog last week!!! Your little boy is soo cute. I think it is a must to dress him up for Halloween-I did with Taegan at that age as well!! It is all for the moms-but thats okay. I also did the CVS diaper deal-gotta go where they are cheap. I will add you to my blogroll:)
I was just thinking last night about how I can’t wait for fall. Between September and December is seriously my absolute favorite time of the year! Last year Jacob was about 8 months old and we took him to the pumpkin patch for pictures and dressed him up for Halloween. It’s all about the pictures!!!!! We had good intentions to go trick-or-treating, but, at the last minute decided it wouldnt be the best since we would just get all the candy. This year, might be another story!! π
You and your date are so darling!! And yes, I am OVER the humidity! Literally the TV just flashed a thing on the bottom that said “Very Muggy Tomorrow”..no thank you!
I LOVE white cheese dip! It is the best!! No it is not silly to dress Connor up for Halloween. We did with both of our kiddos!! Tyler was an Anne Geddes flower for her first Halloween and Landon was a Razorback football player! LOL!
We had a good time eating out with y’all on Sunday!
I think you should definitely dress Connor up for Halloween! We should dress up our 3 babies and take them to the pumpkin patch for pictures this fall!
I hate fussing about the weather, but these temps are brutal this year! Blech!
I’m loving the idea of using the baby to get Halloween candy! Awesome!
You should definitely dress him up for Halloween! I’m still a little disappointed in my mom that she didn’t dress me up for my first Halloween. Granted I was barely 2 weeks old at the time, but I think its no excuse! π
Also I have a shot for your wall of shame, I’ve been meaning to send to you. Hopefully you’ll have it in the next day or so, but just wanted to let you know
