If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that I’m a picture-taking crazy woman. I have no shame when it comes to pictures, and I know years down the road I’ll never regret taking a single photo. We live in a society today where picture-taking isn’t only done on special occasions, it’s done on a daily basis and shared with everyone. Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or a blog…..pictures are a way of expressing who we are and sharing memories.
For me taking photos has become a way to share our lives with my family. They live out-of-state and want to see pictures of Connor as he grows older. I can’t imagine not having a camera with me and something funny or crazy happened and I missed sharing that with them. If they can’t be here, then photos are the next best way of sharing our lives with our family and friends.
We recently got to try out the new Samsung WB800F Smart Camera. We headed to Sam’s Club to shop for our new camera. We got a great deal with a $30 instant rebate, which made the camera $249.88. I actually took it on my trip with me to Arkansas a couple of weeks ago and it was a great compact camera I was able to take everywhere.
Take a ticket and get your camera….easy as that!
And you know your camera is safe, secure, and not damaged.
Sam’s Club had a great display so we could check out all the camera features.
Yep…he knows what’s coming. He knows exactly what these are!
MORE pictures ha ha ha!!!

Now, I do own a fancy froo froo DSLR camera….but when traveling it’s hard to pull out at restaurants or tight places. It’s heavy and you have to bring a whole other bag just to haul your camera. I didn’t want to sacrifice quality of photos over not having a camera with me. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the Samsung WB800F Smart Camera was to use and how good my photos turned out!

My favorite feature of the Samsung WB800F is the Direct Link button. The Direct Link button is on the top left hand side of the camera. All you have to do is install Samsung Smart Camera app on your phone.
Once the App is installed it will pretty much walk you through the process of sharing your photos among your smart phone and the camera.
The Samsung WB800F camera has WiFi features like Remote Viewfinder & Mobile Link. These allow you to share your pictures instantly. I love the fact that the viewfinder is a touch screen. This camera has all the wonderful you love about using your cell phone, but the quality of your photos is 100x better!
Another great feature is AutoShare, this saves images to both the memory card and your smart phone after you take a picture.
Taking pictures and sharing has never been so easy!
Pop-up flash
Easy to use mode selector, including access to Wi-Fi.
Image adjustment features. These are great and there are so many tools on this camera to edit your photos right on the screen.
The Samsung WB800F also includes face detection, which is great when sharing with friends on social networking sites.
Pictures taken SOC with Samsung WB800F using the 21x optical zoom feature:
I gave him one of my birthday chocolates….yeah….bribery works wonders in taking photos!
But isn’t the quality so much better than on your cell phone camera? The best thing is the Samsung WB800F camera allows for quick one-click sharing of images with your smartphone using the free Samsung Smart Camera app, available on either Android or iOS operating systems.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the Samsung WB800F. Coming from a self-professed picture fanatic and camera snob this rates well in my book. The picture quality is far superior to what you’ll get using your cell, and you still have the things you love about taking photos with your cell…..instant sharing with all your friends and family.

Thanks for posting this! I’m looking for a new camera and I was wondering if you could share to instagram directly with this camera? Or do you have to upload to your phone then instagram it?
Greetings!
How do I get the camera to show the pictures that I have taken on my smart TV? I have an LG wireless…
I love the camera and the pics but how do I transfer pics to my laptop?
Thank you!!
there is a usb cord you connect to your computer and the camera and transfer. Or you can email them.
Did you install Instagram on the camera?
