I wanted to share something with you all I’m so excited about called The Best Part. The Best Part is an online community dedicated to brightening up your day. I used to work with a man who would walk into the office every day and the first thing he would say is “HAPPY! HAPPY!” That’s all he said, but the tone in his voice and his attitude about life in general was infectious to all around him.
That’s exactly what The Best Part community is about. It’s a place that posts inspirational stories, encouraging quotes, & good news on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The Best Part community also encourages fans and followers to share optimism with those around them too! When you share what makes you happy it affects others and shines bright in the midst of the darkness.
What are some of the ways you like to bring happiness to those around you? I like to give a card, surprise someone with a cup of coffee in the morning, or even just a simple smile can make a difference in someone’s day. Everyone makes choices. You can choose to lift someone up or bring them down.
Years from now when you’re old and gray how do you want people to remember you? I personally want people to say “Oh Becky, she was always so happy. She put a smile on my face every day, she made me laugh, and she was the first to offer help when I need it.” That is what I hope people say. When you sit back and look at the bigger picture in life you realize that the things you think matter to others really don’t, and the things that do matter are so simple! You have the chance today to leave a legacy for tomorrow. Nobody likes a Debbie Downer. I live each day to the fullest, and I hope people see that in me. I try to be an optimist, not a pessimist.
