Five on Friday= FAVORITES+Makeup FAVES
Today I’m going to share some favorite makeup STUFF I use. And by stuff I mean the freakish hoarding of makeup I’ve been collecting over the past year.
One recent favorite is this LAQA & Co. lip pen I got in my Birchbox this month. I never in a million years thought I would like a purple lip color…but I’m absolutely loving this bold punch of color for summer.
I’m often switching up foundations. Right now I really like this product called “The Big Easy” by Benefit. It goes on smooth like a liquid foundation, but also gives you the finish of a powder. 
I own at least 4 of these LipSurgence pens from Tarte. They are super hydrating and the color pigment is fab!
This Batiste dry shampoo for blondes is great for days when I don’t want to wash my hair….we all have those!
I’ve been using this concealer by MakeupForever for forever. It’s the best under-eye coverage I’ve found and I’m sticking with what works!
The best makeup brush I’ve bought by far is this tapered eye shadow blending brush from Chanel. I’ve had it for at least 8 years and it’s still going strong. It’s perfect for blending shadow in the corners of your eyes.
I can’t live without my Teez w Eez. This is the best tool for getting the perfect poof!
Loreal “Butterfly Effects” mascara works WONDERS! It works better than some mascaras I’ve spent $30+ for….
And last but not least is my favorite poofing powder. Got2B Powder’ful is amazing! It holds your hair and lifts it up! Beware…once it’s in your hair it’s cement. You have to wash to get it out. I sprinkle a tiny bit on the back of my hair and that’s it!

Someone asked if I would blog about my makeup routine and products…well color me 50 shades of red! Someone wants to know MY makeup routine…fo’shizzle.
My sister’s wedding hair was the bomb diggity y’all….seriously gorg.
When I went back home to Arkansas I stopped at Pineapple Whip and got my favorite summer treat. That week’s flavor was Mango/Pineapple. OMG. Soooooo good!
Why we don’t have this is Texas is beyond me. I just may start one!
Sister selfies. This ding dong got rear ended the day I got there….so guess who was her chauffeur during the wedding week??? ME. Uhm…..it’s okay we got to spend some good quality sister time together. Check out how beautiful her wedding was below. Connor also had to get a selfie in with the cousins 🙂
My Mom told me about the books series called “The Selection” you need to go get this….it’s SO good!!! If you liked Hunger Games with a lot more romance and fancy then you’ll love this.
We stayed at my friend Kristin’s house one night and her little boy had a batman mask and cape. Talk about epic melt down when Connor had to take this off. Seriously, I think he would wear this every day if he could. Obsessed!
Another thing I can’t get enough of these days is this smoked gouda pimento cheese dip. It’s SO good! I have it for lunch at least twice a week along with a cucumber and tomato salad. YUM.

Whirlwind Wedding Week!
This past week has been non-stop! Connor and I left early last week for my sister and Vinny’s wedding in Arkansas. It was a beautiful wedding, I have some pictures…but I wasn’t the photographer and I didn’t pull out my camera much so I could enjoy the experience more. I’m so happy Bonnie has found happiness and Jarrett has a great father figure in Vinny.
The wedding was beautiful and full of all things pink, which if you know my sister PINK is right up her alley. We had a nice visit home and got to see relatives we haven’t seen in a good while. That’s always nice!
Bridesmaids:
It’s almost like I need a vacation from vacation you know? Coming back from a hectic week (even though you “were” on vacation) it feels like you weren’t. My Mom and Dad helped so much with the boys. Connor thought we were going to a ball and he and Jarrett had a lot of fun dancing on the dance floor.
I’ll recap more soon with some official pictures…in the mean time it’s back to the daily grind!

A few weekends ago we took Connor fishing for the first time. I grew up fishing in the creek with my Nannie and Papa. Those were some of the best times! Connor has been asking ever since then when we can get back out on a boat and go fishing.
Now, we didn’t go on a big boat…our Uncle Kyle has one of those and maybe we can take him on that this summer. Someday maybe he will even learn how to ski 😉

My M&M’s Ready for the Wedding! #MC
