Valentines Day 2013

We had a pretty low key Valentines Day this year.  I’ve been super stressed out at work this week…..so I’m looking forward to a three day weekend and some relaxation time! 
 
Ter-Bear got me some Godiva.  He said he cleaned out that particular store of all their extra dark chocolate truffles 🙂  Thank you babe.  I love you so much and thanks for thinking of me.  You are my heart and soul & even though times get hard we are, and always have been together and a team.

I went up to Connor’s school and took pictures of the kiddos.  I didn’t get there until the party was pretty much over.  I still got a few good pictures though.  His new school is so great.  He’s flourishing there and has made new friends.  We love his teachers and everyone loves him!

 I will cherish this forever.  The kids made owls out of pine cones for their parents….I love it.

Worst Target Trip EVER.


I debated on whether or not to put this up here….but I think we all have days (shopping trips) like this.  I took a video because nobody believes me that he acts this way!  


I know he was tired and everything, but it’s days like this where I just lose it!  This lasted for almost 45 minutes in Target….all of this over not wanting to sit in the shopping cart and run around the store.  Lord help me.  Everyone was staring. 


 I did take him out and whoop him too….so don’t think I didn’t!  What do you do when this kind of thing happens???



It was so bad that a nice lady offered to wheel my cart out for me while I held him while he was screaming…..Thank you sweet lady at Target.  You were so kind!

He got a haircut too.  A little bit shorter than I wanted.  But it’s only hair and will grow back 🙂

Christkindle German Market: Arlington, Texas

Last night we had so much fun going to a German Christmas Market here in Arlington, TX called Christkindle.  Terence’s Aunt Loyce and Uncle Garry let us tag along and we has such a great time with them.  I was born in Germany, so it was extra special to see all the German memorabilia around. 
 
Some day I would LOVE to go back and see where I was born and visit my heritage.  My maiden name “Altland” is a German name too 🙂 
 
And I’m wearing the super popular Piko shirt.  I loved how my friend Aly described it on Facebook….she cracks me up!  She said something like it’s a shirt you can wear to a buffet or fit a small child under while still looking stylish!  I love it, I want some more….it’s the softest cotton and so comfy!

Connor’s New Big Boy Bed

I think he likes it.  Or at least jumping on it.  Which we are trying to put a halt on that one!
We got it from Pottery Barn Kids.  It was on sale and free shipping over Thanksgiving weekend. 
I also won a $500 Pottery Barn Kids gift card from a Facebook Halloween Costume Contest!!!!
I was in total shock and so excited!!!!
Alas, we bought the bed.  Now we have this gift card.  I could totally spend it no problem….but if you’d like it we are trying to sell it for $450 to re-coup at least what we spent on the bed.  It’s also good at Pottery Barn & Williams Sonoma.  If you’d like to enquire email me at beckylbranch@gmail.com

Santa Visit 2012 {Santa Pictures Link Up}

Connor did so good when we saw Santa last night!  He walked up really slowly to see him and then gave him a hug.  The only thing he asked for was candy! ha ha!  Kid has a serious sweet tooth like his Mama.

I really hyped up going before we went and told him how fun it was and that Santa gives presents and candy and so he was excited before we got there….just try to hype your kiddos up before the visit so they won’t be so scared 🙂  (Also a pixie stick doesn’t hurt either) ha! Just kidding…kinda……

My boy is growing up way too fast!!!
My heart.  Thank you God for this child.  I am so blessed to be his Mama.
