Valentines Day 2013

We had a pretty low key Valentines Day this year.  I’ve been super stressed out at work this week…..so I’m looking forward to a three day weekend and some relaxation time! 
 
Ter-Bear got me some Godiva.  He said he cleaned out that particular store of all their extra dark chocolate truffles 🙂  Thank you babe.  I love you so much and thanks for thinking of me.  You are my heart and soul & even though times get hard we are, and always have been together and a team.

I went up to Connor’s school and took pictures of the kiddos.  I didn’t get there until the party was pretty much over.  I still got a few good pictures though.  His new school is so great.  He’s flourishing there and has made new friends.  We love his teachers and everyone loves him!

Valentine Gift For Your Honey

Last week I had the BEST massage ever. Laura, my masseuse worked her magic little fingers and gave the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had.  I work at a computer all day long and my neck, back, and shoulders are always tight and hurting.

I felt so good after our appointment I just wanted to go cuddle up in bed…..actually I almost fell asleep.  Laura made me feel so comfortable and relaxed.  From the minute I walked inside I was greeted with smiling faces and excellent customer service.

It was amazing!

Biggest Loser Week 6

Well gals we only have a couple weeks to go.  What do you think your biggest struggle has been?  For me it’s been sweets.  Also, I tend to eat one big meal and then not eat again for a long while.  I know you’re supposed eat several small meals, but sometimes I get so busy I forget to eat…and then when I do I am so hungry I eat like a horse.  Naughty!!! 
 
I did okay this week.  I just wish life would slow down a bit.  Sometimes it’s hard to focus on myself because I am so busy doing other things….
 
Connor and I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and he did really well!!! Yay!!! I took a lot of your advice and we talked about what was going to happen before we went in.  What would happen if he behaved and how it was all going to go down.  Much better.
 
I’m not saying a tantrum will never happen again, but he was well fed, it was early morning so he was rested, and in a good mood.  I think all those things factor in.  I’m going to try to plan my trips to the grocery store accordingly 🙂
 
We did get a treat for breakfast too!  Can you see the evidence on his face?

Donut holes, or as Connor calls them “baby donuts”.  I HATE glazed donuts.  Isn’t that weird?  My favorite are the cinnamon ones.  So that was obviously not on my diet plan, but we did have a good time together.

It was also my last week to work the Fort Worth Stock Show.  This is my 5th year to work it and take pictures with Mo our buffalo.  He’s quite the attraction around there!  If you are ever in town during Stock Show time come see me!!!
 
It had been sunny every other Saturday, but last Saturday it was cold and windy!

So here are my stats for week 6: SAME.  No change. That’s okay…at least I didn’t gain???

I always think Carrie Underwood’s eye makeup looks gorgeous.  I was Googling around trying to see how she achieved this look.  So I found a few tips, pointers and products.  I may try this and do a before and after….I know she uses false eyelashes.  I can’t stand them!  I guess it’s just something you get used to!  I always feel like every time  I blink they are going to fly off my eye lid.
