Red Hot Valentine
I made these cute little Valentine treats from Connor. I know not all kids like red hots..because, well, they are hot! But I figured Mom & Dad could eat them and I would also give something for the kids. I just liked the idea of using red hots 🙂
I made this up on my own….and I was so proud!
Just clear baggies, a label, red hots, and ribbon
Very fitting of a Valentine theme don’t you think?
Note to hubby: Every year you get me Godiva extra dark choco truffles….don’t fail me. I think this was a sign…that my one time a year to indulge is okay 😉 I know you love my lovely lady lumps.
This is a public service announcement:
If you work outside the home and the delivery man doesn’t come your way on Valentine’s day…..it’s like the walk of shame. Everyone oooh’s and aaaaah’s over what comes through the door on Valentine’s day. You can see the look of anticipation on every co-workers face. When the poor delivery guy doesn’t say “It’s for YOU” then you just blow it off like it’s not big deal. Forget that…IT IS. This is why I dread Valentine’s day, because the expected of the unexpected. My hubs knows I love him, and I know he loves me……
Thank You.
Worst Target Trip EVER.
Best Camera Bag Ever!
I am absolutely in love with my new camera bag by Kelly Moore. It’s bright and stylish…and also holds my camera. I just adore this design, it’s everything I wanted in a camera bag/purse.
Lots of pockets for all your camera necessities:
Handle on the bag, as well as a long strap with padded shoulder:
I could easily carry two lenses in here along with my camera. I am using that to take these photos though 🙂
I really like the front pouch. It holds whatever cards you use, plus extra SD cards:
It’s the perfect mix between a camera bag and purse.
Biggest Loser Week 5
I’m going “okay” but I’m not exactly as motivated as I’d like. Still eating well. Trying to avoid my weaknesses {sugar + carbs}. We had a very busy weekend. I worked the Fort Worth Stock Show Saturday and then went into work for a few hours. Terence hasn’t been feeling well all weekend so the boys stayed home. We had one of our nephews birthday parties and some other miscellaneous things to do.
The weather here has been in the 70’s. Typical for Texas…but I’d like to feel the chill in the air a bit longer before we hit our 110+ summers. Hopefully we’ll get to plan a camping trip in between all the business before it gets too hot and all the critters come out!
I think next week during our challenge I’ll share some of the prizes the winner(s) still undecided about that…..will receive. I also want you to share some healthy recipes if you have any you just LOVE! I ordered a book my good friend Kim recommended called “Clean Eating for Busy Families” I’ll try to share some of the recipes from that.
Okay now down to the nitty gritty:
(Mother nature decided to grace me with her presence…ugh!)
Week 5: -1 lb.
I’ll take it!
I also had the pleasure of meeting Tina from Girl Meets Globe. She and her family travel and do missions overseas. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. It was so nice to meet her after reading each other’s blogs for a few years.
You should go check out her blog-she’s got really cool pictures of all her travels. They are on their way to England next!!! I can’t wait to check it out! xoxo Becky
