Let’s Get Merry!

Now that all this election biz is over I am ready for something happy and exciting and that means CHRISTMAS!!!!  My favorite time of the year!  I love the feeling in the air, people, eggnog lattes, scarves, and music!
I wanted to change up our Christmas decor a little bit this year and add some traditional red and green.  The past three years we’ve stuck with blue, but our house is blue all year around so some different colors were in order 🙂
I ordered these cute ornaments off of Amazon:
I love the “Merry” and polka dot ornaments….

I also got my Starbucks ornament for 2012….the gold cup in all it’s bling bling glory!

And last but not least I wanted to enter one of my favorite websites “I Heart Faces” Orange challenge this month.  These are some of my favorite pictures of Connor….oh how these past couple years have flown by!  It seems like yesterday my little elf was rocking this outfit!

Hope everyone has a great day!
Remember win or lose…God is always in control!

Voting Perks

I got my very first eggnog latte today!!!! Woohoo!!!
Even though it’s 75 outside I don’t care because when I have one of these in my little grubby hands it feels like fall 🙂
My Mommy sent me this awesome orange infinity scarf.  She knitted it herself!  I make fun of her and say she’s officially morphing into an old lady.  Everyone really loves her scarves.  Three of the ladies I work with now want one.  FYI Mom: “Get your knit on!”
Yummy peach raspberry yogurt parfait
Also if you visit Starbucks today you get a bracelet if you have voted!!!
(Excuse the hairy arm???)
Connor got some goodies from Nana and Poppy yesterday too.  He had to carry all his presents inside at once! Ha ha!  He loooooooves his kitty cat.  Ever since Jarrett came to visit and had his kitty cats Connor has wanted a kitty.  Thank you so much Nana & Poppy for my soft kitty, books, towel, and new shirts!
Kissing Kitty 🙂

Cutest Family EVER.

Last night I had a photo shoot with the most adorable family.  Baby Brooks just tugged at my heartstrings and let me just say it….I got baby fever!  He was adorable and smiley the entire time.  Just a precious little dumpling.  They were the sweetest family and I feel so honored they let me take pictures for them 🙂

My weekends are filling up fast!  I’d love to do your Christmas family photos!

Little Mr Shower

Yesterday I hosted a shower for my sister in law Rebecca.  She’s expecting a little boy named Levi soon!  She does so much for us and Connor every day it was nice to do something for her.

I’m not the best at throwing showers, but I love the Little Mr. theme….so that’s what I tried to do.

I hope everyone had a good time visiting and celebrating the upcoming arrival of Little Mr. Levi 🙂

I found most of the printables on Pinterest for free!

Trick-Or-Treat 2012

Connor is at such a fun age!  This year he actually knew what was going on when we went trick-or-treating.  He was very polite and said “trick-or-treat” and “thank you”.  He went as a TCU Horned Frog this year.  My Mom had absolutely no idea what he was…but around these parts he’s kind of a big deal 😉

So here we are ready to go trick-or-treating!

On the move! I think he was overwhelmed at seeing all the people around in costumes.

 We have the sweetest neighbors

When we got back home Connor helped pass out candy.  I think this was his favorite part!  He loved opening the door and hearing the bell ring! We had such a fun night and sweet memories I’ll cherish forever!

Happy Halloweeeeeeeeen Everyone!

Halloween at Work: 2012 BridesMaids Movie

Every year the place I work at goes all out for Halloween.  Everyone dresses up and we all have a theme.  This years theme was Hollywood Movie Stars (Movies).  We chose the movie Bridesmaids!

Prepare for picture overload….we all had the best time and partied all day!  We even had a wedding reception and invited some customers to join in.

Everyone purchased their dresses on Ebay or Etsy.  It’s really hard to find an 80’s dress these days ya’ll!

Here we are all the bridesmaids and some of the groomsmen:

Our colors were hot pink and purple
The reception area:

I found this great tutorial on Oh Happy Day Blog to make these crepe paper fringe decorations.

LOVE THEM!!!! And sooooo easy!
