Weekend Wrap Up Fall 2012

This weekend was crazy town! We had a lot going on…but I like that! It keeps me busy. On Saturday I met up with Bree & fam to hang out with our good buddy Mo.  He’s our mascot for the bank I work at.  I always have such a good time with them and we have become good friends over the years.

I can’t believe this woman just had a baby a couple months ago….she looks FAB!

Someday I must get a pair of cowboy boots…I think that will be my official purchase as a Texan

I just love him.  He’s such a beautiful animal…I wonder what he’s thinking?

I also ordered this scarf from KiKi La’Rue
I love it…it’s so soft and cozy.
Had a photo shoot Saturday morning with this sweet family 🙂
Aren’t they so cute!  Their daughter is just a doll!

Connor and Ellie
They are totally BFF cousins…the relationship they have just melts my heart.
We are so blessed they get to spend each day together and love each other so much!
They sure have grown haven’t they?
I also wanted to link up with Aly. She’s doing a “You Wore Whaaaat?” Link Up:
I know we are twins and all…but this is just aweful.  It looks like curtains and we look so crazy! ha ha!
I’m sure it was totally in a that time!

Hope you all had a blessed weekend!  xoxo Becky

Disney Fairy Fun!

A couple weeks ago we got a box at the door….it was full of beautiful fairy toys!  They are from Disney’s new movie Secret of the Wings.

Tinker Bell, everyone’s favorite Disney Fairies character is back this October, in Disney Fairies newest movie, Secret of the Wings! In Tink’s latest adventure, she visits the forbidden and mysterious Winter Woods where her wings begin to magically sparkle. It’s only after she meets Periwinkle, a beautiful Frost Fairy, that she uncovers the truth behind the glow…they are long lost twin sisters!
Below is the Periwinkle doll, Sky High Periwinkle, & Light Up Wings!
I brought the toys over to our weekend family dinner for all the kids to play with.  They all had a great time playing with the fairy toys and wings.

My niece Ellie LOVED the wings!
They light up with fiber optics and change to 6 different colors.
My nephew Thomas playing with the Sky High Periwinkle
Here is a close up of Perwinkle.
She looks just like Tinkerbell’s twin sister from Winter Wonderland 🙂

Experience the magic of Secret of the Wings, on October 23, 2012! For a sneak peek, please visit- www.disneyfairies.com or on Twitter & Facebook too!

My Mom Shoots People

I’m loving fall this year.  Connor is at the age where he actually understands things now and every time we pass a pumpkin or a ghost he gets so excited!  I’m loving decorating and having a home.  Feeling blessed.  There are some things that I would like to do to update our home, but Christmas is my favorite holiday and I plan on going all out this year and decorating to the max!

All of that said….I need to stay off Zulily.  Lately it’s been like crack.  They have such good deals and I’ve found the CUTEST Christmas stuff on there!  I wish the shipping were a bit cheaper, but it seems like they ship items separately for some reason? I got this shirt awhile back on Zulily and I Looooove it!

It says “My Mom Shoots People”

I tell you getting this child ready in the morning along with myself is a challenge.  He can’t go anywhere without this blanket, his cup, and goldfish…..sigh….

I love holiday paper towels, Kleenex, paper plates….is that weird???
I am not so crazy about Halloween, but I love the festive plates, cups, paper towels that come out around this time of year.

On my computer at work…..this is the truth!
I also found these two items at the grocery store lately…just trying to figure out what to make with them???

Hope ya’ll have a great day it’s almost Friday!!! Whoop!  Whoop!!!

I’m so excited about all the Christmas photo sessions coming up!!!! I get so so so excited meeting people and sharing their pictures 🙂

A few weeks ago I ordered this gorgeous piece of art from Alphabet Photography.  It was so easy!  You just go to their website and type in a word.  Then you can scroll through all the letter options until you find the ones that fit your personal style!

This is what I created:

I just love the way it turned out and it’s framed beautifully.  They did a great job and you can tell it’s very high quality artwork and framing.

Let The Good Times Roll!

I have a few more pictures I wanted to share from our weekend with Bon, Vinny, and Jarrett.  A lot of you ask my about Bonnie from time to time and how she is doing….she’s contemplating blogging again and I hope she does it!  I miss her blogging with me 🙂
Vinny is a really nice guy and he’s a pharmacist in Little Rock.  He was also very good with Jarrett, so that is such a blessing.  Hopefully things will continue to go well for them and it was nice to meet the man in her life!
I just hope they take their time and let the relationship develop.  Pray for them as they continue their journey together!  Overall, I’m glad she’s happy and it’s good to see her in a healthy, happy, loving place right now.
The boys had such a good time together playing and wrestling and tearing up the house….but isn’t that what all 2 year olds do???
I just wish they could spend more time together!
Watching Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood
It’s always a tradition for us to get scratch off tickets when Bonnie comes to visit.  This started a long time ago and we’ve just continued doing it!  We both put in $20 and we won $109!!!  Woohoo!!!
 Our Moolah!
 Saying goodbye to cousin….

This was our first night at dinner…I don’t know why both our eyes are closed….but it’s funny!

Maybe the flash bothered Connor? ha ha!
Me and Bon and our false teeth
We could so be on Toddlers & Tiaras with our “flippers”
You think we could win???

I love this picture of Connor and Terence…melt my heart!
Bath time! They played in there for a long time.

On Sunday we met up with Amber for breakfast at La Madeleine’s….we were fashionably late thanks to Bonnie.  This is notorious for her…..believe me I grew up with her!

We had a fab breakfast with Amber and visit 🙂
I can’t wait until ya’ll come back soon!
Thanks for coming to see us!!!

Actually I can’t wait to go home to AR to see all my friends and family too…..home again home again…here I come!

Dallas Arboretum {Visit with Bonnie,Jarrett, & Vinny}

This past weekend my sister, Bonnie, and her boyfriend Vinny….along with my little red-headed nephew Jarrett headed up to Texas for a visit.  We had a great time with them.  I wish we had more than just a day….but we made the most of it!  The boys had such a great time playing together and running all around the house.
Saturday we woke up early and headed to the Dallas Arboretum.  I’ve always wanted to go because it seemed like such a pretty place and it did not disappoint.  The Chihuly exhibit was AMAZING!  It’s all these hand blown glass sculptures and pieces of magnificent artwork.  I think it would be awesome to see that at night too.  If you are ever in the Dallas area this would be a great place to check out!
*WARNING*
Picture overload ahead!!!!!
We got some cutie pie pics of our boys together….let me just say it isn’t the easiest thing to get two 2 year olds to look and smile at the same time!
