29th Birthday Continued….

I had the best birthday EVER this past weekend! Bonnie and I both turned 29 on Sunday *gasp* it’s the last year of our 20’s! We had Bonnie, Jason, and Jarrett at our house and they stayed Friday night until Sunday afternoon. Saturday afternoon my Mom, Dad, Nannie, and cousin Lindsey arrived as well. Saturday all the gals went shopping and then we had a nice dinner at the Olive Garden. On Sunday we all woke up and went to church together. Connor had a HUGE blowout in the middle of church! LIKE THE BIGGEST ONE YET! We dressed both boys alike, but by the end of the day they were both in different outfits for one reason or another. After church we celebrated our birthday at the Cracker Barrel and had yummy food and coke cake. They don’t have Cracker Barrel in Vegas so Bonnie and Jason REALLY wanted to go there while visiting. On Monday morning Mom, Dad, Nannie, and Lindsey came over to spend some more time with the babies and say goodbye. Later that afternoon we ate lunch with Bonnie, Jason, and Jarrett and then Terence took them to the airport. The weekend just flew by so fast…but it was a great one! I am so glad I finally got to meet my nephew before he starts walking! God has blessed us both with beautiful boys and they were so fun to watch interacting with each other. I can’t wait until we see each other again SOON! I love you all and thank you for everything! Here are a few highlights from the weekend….

I hate that! Is there any way to change that?

Awesome Day

Today was Awesome day at work. We celebrated how we have such awesome employees!
We all got scratch off lotto tickets, I think the big winner was Kelly with $4 bucks! Woohoo! We also ordered lunch from On The Border…it was delish!

We all wore our horns because the mascot for the bank is a buffalo

We looked pretty awesome right???

Of course I had to try the buffalo horns on Connor
“Someone help me please!” “Momma stop!”

And cousin Arielle looks just as thrilled huh?

They are so sweet with each other!

I soooooo need to quit eating chocolate! Terence made me a bet if I lost a certain amount of weight he would take me shopping for new clothes…..I just have to LOSE it now!

We got a humidifier for little Mister, so hopefully his little stuffy nose will get better soon and he’ll be able to breath again. I am going to try the vapor rub on his feet…thanks for that suggestion! Two more days until Friday ya’ll! Toodles!
I AM SOOO TIRED ALL THE TIME!!!! AHHH!
WHEN DO YOU GET YOUR ENERGY BACK???

Comings and Goings

Little Mister seems to be doing better today. Last night I gave him a bath with some vapor bath wash and he loved it. He LOVES his bath time! He’s been sooo stuffy lately and his little baby cough just makes me feel so bad for him! He looked so cute this morning and was in a good mood so Mommy snapped some pictures 🙂

Terence grilled out again last night and we watched the series finale of 24. What are we going to do without Lost and 24 now??? We were talking about television and we both are ready for some good scripted shows instead of all this reality TV.

Yummy BBQ chicken and grilled zucchini and squash

Yesterday at work we celebrate my birthday (which isn’t until Sunday) along with my co-worker JoAnn’s birthday. Our birthdays are a week apart. They got us a red velvet cake and they got me a birthday card with a very GENEROUS Starbucks card that should last me like….months! I was excited! They obviously know me very well! ha..ha..!!! Hope you all are having a great week!

Whirlwind Weekend!

I can’t believe it’s already Monday….again….tomorrow! It seems like these weekends just fly by! With each passing day I get a little better acquainted with little Mister and he’s just growing up so fast already. I just love him so much..he’s my precious angel boy! Terence’s parents watched Connor for awhile on Saturday while I power cleaned the house and the exterminator came over. I was able to get some stuff done I’d been putting off before my family visits next weekend. I feel so much better when my house is clean and I’ve caught up on things. While cleaning I noticed how so much has changed in the past few months…gone is my pristine kitchen and house…it’s made way for things like this now….

The trusty bottle warmer…I love you!
Bottle racks now align my counter tops instead of decorations 🙂

And every morning before work I get my pump ready, a cooler with C’s bottles, and a smaller cooler to put my milk in. That doesn’t include his diaper bag, my purse, his car seat, and another bag! I feel like I am packing for a vacation only it’s every morning!

Little Mister has starting blowing bubbles and has become a drool monster! He hasn’t been feeling too good lately and I was worried to leave him in the nursery at church this morning, but he did really good again! I just hope he starts feeling better soon!

Note for Dad: “Mommy says just because I have a big poopy or a HUGE booger
doesn’t mean she wants to come SEE it!” LOL!

Terence grilled us an awesome dinner tonight. He made chicken stuffed with sage and mozzarella. He also grilled some corn and it was sooo good!
We are watching the Lost series finale event right now!

I also made some homemade salsa
(one of my favorite summertime foods)

Here are some pics we took while shopping this weekend.
Connor had to try on this hat…it was all his idea!

And of course we had some SB!

Tomorrow Connor gets to see his cousin Arielle again and go play 🙂
They loooove each other!
So sweet!
I hope you all had a great weekend!

First Shots

Connor had his first shots today so he’s not feeling too well tonight 🙁
Terence took him while I was at work today, which is probably a good thing because I would have cried right along with him! He seems to being doing okay though…just a little fussy. It was so hard to find infant Tylenol because of the national recall. We finally found some CVS brand. If you have some you should go check it out on their website and see if you have one of the recalled bottles. I am SOOOOO glad tomorrow is Friday! Yippeeee!!!!

Bugs Bunny band aids make it all better….
He’s such a happy boy 🙂

TGIF everyone!
