I went back to the doctor today and I am feeling better! They said everything looks fine with me, no cysts and my uterus looks good 🙂 I’m on a few different meds right now so hopefully that will help straighten things out. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers!!!
I go back next week for a bunch more lab work and I also go to another specialist.
We have a nephew! Terence’s brother Paul & his wife Liz welcomed Thomas Michael BranchI am home sick today. I have a dr appt at 2:30 and it can’t come soon enough! I got that shot of progesterone last tuesday and I quit bleeding for four days, and then all of the sudden it hit me like a bolt of lightening again. I went through an entire 24 count package of pads yesterday and the bleeding still hasn’t stopped. Terence almost took me to the emergency room last night, but I decided to wait until today because I knew all I would do is wait there and they would just give me another shot. I’m so tired of being tired and I feel like someone just took my uterus and squeezed it like an orange!
A little history:
My Papa’s mother died of a blood hemorrage. My sister was in the hospital a couple years ago from bleeding so bad she had countless blood transfusions to replace all the blood she lost. Poor sister! We both have never had a normal period, our mother didn’t either. God is stronger and blessed my mother with twins though 🙂 And no, she had no “help” getting pregnant with drugs and such. We have both been to blood doctors and they find nothing wrong..which is frustrating! They keep saying we won’t have trouble getting pregnant but I know we’ve both been trying for awhile with no luck 🙁 And they tell us we don’t ovulate and just want to put us on drugs….
I hope this doctor today doesn’t just send me home with a shot and an excuse that everything will be okay, because it just isn’t anymore!!!!
As I was praying last night pleading with God to take away this pain, I feel like He was saying something to me. I suddenly felt so selfish. Selfishness like I have never felt before! I have this wonderful LIFE!!! God has allowed me to live, here on this earth. I have a wonderful husband, and great family, everything to be happy and content with. Why do I always worry so much about stuff I can’t control? God is in control, I am not. If He wills for me to have a child that is wonderful, and that is what HE wants for me. Take nothing for granted, we aren’t promised tomorrow and I want to feel like this life I am living is worth something more than I think it should be, but I want to be content with what God wants it to be so that I can glorify HIM!
These last couple of weeks have been CRAZY! Terence getting ready for school, work, and just stuff. We have calmed down a bit though and are being nice again 🙂
I started reading the second book in the “Shopaholic” series, “Shopaholic takes Manhattan”, now I really want to go to NYC! I wanted to before, but now I really do! Those books are so much fun!
We saw the movie “21” on Friday, and it was really good. I am totally ready for Vegas….except I’m now afraid of blackjack tables 🙁
We have narrowed it down to a few things we want to do while there.
1. We really want to see “O” by cirque du soleil
2. The Titanic exhibit
3. The M&M world store
4. The Bellagio
5. In and Out Burger & the Cupcakery
6. And everything else on the strip!!!
Yikes! How are we going to fit all this in on a weekend?
I’m so glad I have this vacation to look forward to. It makes every day a little shinier knowing it’s in less than a month! I got a letter from my Mom and Dad today and they said they may come visit in May. I sure hope so because I get so homesick. I talked to my Papa today and he is doing really well too! He’s got cancer really bad and I worry about him all the time. I know God is watching over him for us though. My Dad is so silly! He is seriously the sweetest, most genuine, loving person (so is Mommy too of course!)…Daddy took this picture of his rear view mirror in his car and sent it to me…

Also-we went running tonight and I am so sore already! I hope I make it through the Race for the Cure! I am so out of shape! I also got a tanning card..he..he..I need a little color on my pasty self! If I turn into a beet by next week I’ll letcha now as my skin has not seen the sun in nearly 10 years!
My sister and I have a thing for World Market. It has the coolest little things in there that are made from other countries…it’s kind of like a Pier One, only better!
Speaking of sister, my best friend Sara and I are going to visit her in May! Yipppeee!!! This is the best thing that has happened all year! Sara is so precious, she said all she wanted for her birthday was for all of us to spend a girls weekend in Vegas and she even bought my plane ticket! I can’t thank her enough! I have the best friends! She knows how much she means to me….I love you Sara and miss you so much!
Terence and I also signed up for the race for the cure this month too! I got my digits in today…I will probably not “run” the race, but I’ll try to do the best I can and Lord knows it won’t hurt me to exercise more!
We also went and filed part of our taxes this week and as of right now we are getting money back! Yippy skippy! Last year we owed and that sucked big time 🙁 We are just waiting on one more piece of paper before we can officially file. Also, can’t wait to get that gov’t stimulus check in the mail as well. What are you guys going to do with your extra $600/$1200 (per couple) check? Save or spend? Terence needs a laptop for grad school, which he will start on May 12th…so there goes ours 🙁 poo! It’s all for the greater good in the long run though! Hopefully this year will fly by…..
Julie, the girl I work with and the one I took pictures of a couple weekends ago gave me an hour and a half massage to thank me!!! I told her not to do anything, but she is just too sweet and insisted! I have great co-workers, they are so sweet. I may go do that this weekend because I have definately been stressed out lately. Yesterday I went to the doctor and they gave me a shot in my hiney to stop all the bleeding I’ve been having so hopefully this will help. They drew a bunch more blood too….LIKE I CAN SPARE ANY??? I still have my appointment with the specialist in a couple weeks…prayers are loved and appreciated. I am so tired all the time and I just want to feel normal and be able to have a baby 🙁

This is the dress my mother in law made me for Easter. I think it turned out really well! The length hits right under my knees….Terence took the picture and he didn’t get the entire dress in!
I love getting stuff in the mail! I get overly excited every day when I rush to our box at 11:30 and slowly turn the key (hoping for no bills!) and get a package! YEAH! My sweet sister in Vegas sent me this cute neckalace and this great bag! She also sent me some chocolate coins (which are already eaten up!) I love my sweet sister and I miss her SOOOO much! Today is my precious Mommy’s birthday…happy 49th Mommy! And my Daddy turned 52 last Friday!!! I love you both and miss you more than you know…..
